RLWC 2021 Week 1 Discussion

Suaalii very lucky he didn't make contact with the boot there. That would have been a penalty try IMO.

**** me... are challenges in this as well

England gonna struggle.. so many Panthers in this team that are used to defending like an NRL team

Not sure why Luai challenged that.

Clear loose carry.

Hamlin-Uele gone for the game and sounds like the tournament, as well.

Welsby has come up with two rubbish kicks at the end of sets so far.

And Milford with a shit kick to gift England possession..

Good try.

Welsby makes up for his errors and scores the first try of the tournament.

Samoa looking really tired and it showed there with that defence. Williams never should have made it through two defenders that easily.

It all comes off the back of a poor 4th tackle play. Samoa had good ball but instead of capitilising on it they went for a hit-up and Tapau lost the ruck. Off that play Milford puts up a well weighted kick that nobody chased and England were all on the front foot.

Another soft effort from Tapau and Williams splits him way too easily to put Welsby over.

Oh that was beautiful.

Pearler of a pass from Welsby and Young was unstoppable.

Back to back now through Young.

Comes off the back of a strong run from McKeen that caught Tago & Luai at marker. Welsby sums it up right away exploits the overlap and Young goes 60m in a fantastic run.

Welsby is cutting Samoa to shreds.

Another pearler of a pass to Young who scores in the corner.

Welsby taking advantage of Hammer's defence out on that wing

Hammer defending no one there
