England lost their way, but Tomkins does well to keep the ball alive and finds McKeen again. Welsby comes from the other side of the ruck and throws the exact same pass to put Young over.

I don't think they are going to get back in this, though. Their body language is poor. Their discipline is poor and they aren't doing much apart from carting it up the middle which England are handling well.

It was a fantastic run that came out of nothing from Suaalii.

He's still obviously raw at only 19 but you can see why he has raps on him.

Whoever the **** was sucking Samoa off for weeks on end can shut the **** up now. They might come back and win it to be fair but I can’t even see how they would beat Tonga in the comp this year with such a shithouse spine. Suaalii is an amazing winger but a bog average fullback. Need to re-jig a lot of pieces in that team for it to work.

Yeah, England unlucky to have that Williams pass called back. Looked like Klein may have been fooled by the optical illusion of Williams being tackled as he passed the ball, it was backwards out of the hands at all times.

Crichton got a lot closer than I thought he would. It was really only that last frame where his grip on the ball loosened, on another day, I could see the officials conning themselves into giving that.

18-6 England at the break is a fair reflection. They're defending with more purpose and the players are playing for each other. Whereas the Samoans are getting caught trying to come up with individual brilliance instead of making life easier for their team mates. Defensively they've been out-played and it's going to be tough without Hamlin-Uele in the rotation.
