A completely different side to the one the showed up against the cowboys in the trials. Players struggled with cramp but we looked fit and went the full 80.
Issako was good at the back except for that one dumb pass but his positioning in defence seems a lot better.
That set play for the Oates try is something we've been missing since the vintage Boyd days.
Everytime Billy Walters ran he was dangerous, both him and Kelly were great Kelly 6 Billy 14 once Reynolds returns.
Payne has developmented a offload and that's the best I've seen Carrigan play, what he did tonight we were missing last season, he was the perfect partner for Payne. Special mention to Palasia thought he was brilliant tonight as well.
Staggs was rusty and defence on that side needs improvement. Though he made quite a few mistakes I thought Cobbo was great, he didn't look gassed or slow like the trials. He played like a guy who hasn't played much wing hes only going to get so much better and once him and staggs get their timing right playing together that side will be lethal.
Capewell led the 1 percenters and the rest of the team followed.
With Souths you can see the difference Adam makes and we he's going to make that difference to us once he returns.

I think the other way. Billy has a much better running game and i think he would be more impactful as a 14 or even as the starting 9.

He seems like a good player but just a fraction too slow. So many half chances that someone with an extra second of speed would have finished off.

Would bring Hetherington in to help them and then Palasia can help that fade out when the bench is used toward the end of the half.
