The fans still turn up when we are shit which is why the NRL don't give a **** about us. If we dropped massively in the ratings then they would be concerned but we are that hate people legitimately watch us to see us lose or if we do well its our fans turning up in droves to watch us. We are big enough now to have no ***** given how we perform in the eyes of the NRL - sort of like Collingwood in the AFL.
More BS. A winning team gets more numbers, on TV and to the stadium, home and away, NRL would get moist if the Broncos made some grand finals. Stop creating excuses. The only legitimate complaint a Broncos fan can have towards the NRL, is about the strength of the draw, as we are regularly playing the best teams twice. Any conspiracy theory crap about the NRL trying to influence game results is uneducated cry baby behaviour.

Best time to face them to be honest. They will be working through changes to spine and the loss of there wide running threat in Kikow. If our forwards match their aggression we have the outside backs to threaten them. It's still the number 9 for me that is our biggest concern. Multiple times in trials with all options apart from mozer there was breakdown in play in opposition 20. We need to ice these opportunities to beat the top sides.

You'd hope the addition of Reynolds will help there, though his lack of game time is a concern. We might only beat them by thirty.

Was wondering if this would happen and whether face protection/headgear is sufficient for the injury he has.

I suspect it's not, because he's a small body and also playing fullback it's likely he'll be targeted by defenders... but it does allow him to train which will be beneficial in getting reps with the starting team.

I think we shouldn't try to rush him in though.. he will be vitally important to us for the season so no need to rush him into a game with the reigning premiers away from home.

Even when he is fit the facial protection may be beneficial to keep for a couple weeks.... unless it hinders his play style

Those face masks they use for soccer players who have the same injury wouldn't work in League because head high contact is basically to be expected at some point, especially a spine player.

I have no idea how the Broncs will do this year.. which is exciting as a fan, expectations aren't that high and they seem like they could easily make the top 8 with some good fortune, hopefully Arey's body holds together long enough.. His first year was a good one for the Broncs, but the Rabbits were prepared to offer him a year also... proof in the pudding is year 2 and 3 which we are about to witness.

Having the Roosters steal our star hooker is surely going to hurt us.

At least we can give up the Herbie at centre experiment and **** him off back to the wing where his subpar passing game won't be such a liability. I'd still keep him in the side though, with Cobbo at fulback (for at least this week) and Mariner into centre. Then when Walsh returns, Cobbo to centre, with Mariner and Herbie fighting it out for the wing.
