He said that Mam, Carrigan and Staggs went back to their rooms after a team meal as they were bitterly disappointed with our performance. The ran into Leniu in the corridor, who made a beeline for Staggs ... When Leniu spotted Mam he launched a "tirade" at him. He made a move towards Mam, promoting Patty to step in front of Mam ... A roosters official eventually got Leniu out of there to defuse the situation.

Badel also reporting that Leniu could face 2 months on the sidelines if found guilty

CCTV would be brilliant for this. Hope the POS gets nailed if its proven he said what he said. The arrogant attitude post game was disgusting.

Exactly, all this if can be proven should be adding to the punishment. It's one thing to **** up and admit it and take accountability. You will still be punished but your contrition rightfully we be taken into account. To be constantly doubling down on it should be adding to whatever punishment there is.

I wonder if Leniu is keen to leave the contact he's going to receive when he returns from suspension on the field. I'm sure he won't think it's all fun and games out on the field when someone nails him with a swinging arm (or sprays him with a water bottle).
 
I wouldn't be against having TPJ for one game and with one role to be the Hitman to take out leniu, bait him to take swings too because he will lose.

Can't believe that coward wouldn't take a hitup at the time, typical.

To me .. 8 weeks just doesn't cut it.

As to the potential 'heat of battle' argument for mitigating factors .. hope the NRL outright rejects that.

Otherwise, they are basically saying that, in part, you can spew your racial slurs and your hate speech on the field .. because .. it's understandable.

As to the reports coming in suggesting that he is continuing to target Ezra - sounds like it's time to call in the police.

Well if that is all true and he targeted Mam at the hotel, he HAS to be facing months on the side line, not just weeks.

Of course it is all alleged at the moment but IF he said what is implied and then also carried on at the hotel, starting something there too at the league's showcase weekend in the US, he HAS to be stood down for ages. This is the definition of bringing the game into disrepute and despite him being at the darling club of the NRL with Politis' protection money, he has taken away HEAPS of attention from the NRL's experiment - they can't sit on their hands with this.
