Morgan plays one good game against a poor bulldogs team, yep let's just forget about the past 4 week where he hasn't even been first grade worthy...

Dogs won 4 out of 5 coming into this game and were heavily favored tonight. I don't rate them highly either but the Cows were terrific tonight. Morgan will definitely be in the Origin side. 1 try and 4 try assists tonight just shows his immense class.

Thurston being a definite out early in the week probably helped them. Had a bit of time to get the combos going at training. Thurston was playing right up until after the captains run against the eels.

He only really got 1 try assist, the others were just fumbles from the Bulldogs.

The Cowboys were never headed. The return of Granville and Coote enabled them to play with the same fluency we've come to expect and Michael Morgan was a constant threat in the red-zone. Combined with a dominant defensive display and the Bulldogs took far too long to get themselves in the play. It was a disappointing effort from there, that early effort from Jackson on Thompson proved costly but in the end, that was the best effort the Cowboys have produced all year.

He's a great player when he plays his role with a good spine which is what he'll have with Qld.

TBH, he was always going to make the 17. It's just a case of whether he plays in the 6 or 14 IMO. Assuming Thurston is out obviously

The bulldogs showed nothing in attack, spread the ball without any right to do so. Sure makes it easy for Morgan when he doesn't have any pressure. Any time he is pressured he crumbles like a wet biscuit.

Ps this Sharks v Drag Queens game is fucking terrible....no real attack from either one....which is good. Small win from the Sharks sets us up to get into second if we can beat manly by like 30 points....
