Round 10 Discussion

Interesting call in this game. When the sharks player got penalised for the one on one strip that the ref called held in the tackle. The strip occurred pretty much the same time the call was made. If the bloke with the ball passes it the same time held is called then it just goes back to ptb. Why not the same for a strip?

Walker's got the easiest trigger - "Fork or spoon?".

This weekend has been a horror show for tipsters (including the election lol)

10 penalties in a row to the Sharks who are conveniently behind at home...

Wtf was Fifita doing then? Dancing with the defenders

It didn't take long for the bunker to stop being consistent obstruction calls.

Canterbury's first try in the second half, that's been no try all year.

If they are saying that's a try, then Oates never should have been denied that try against the Tigers.

3/8 this week.

Speaking of obstruction calls.

@Dexter what did you make of Warea-Hargreaves' effort on Friday?

Manly are going to be a handful once they get their key players back.

I feel like having all of their players back could probably have a negative affect on them.

I feel like they are playing the way they are now because of those missing players, because they know they have to pick up the slack and once they get those players back, perhaps that intensity will drop a bit.

But if they can continue on playing like this with the players back, yeah they are going to be a pain in the ass for a lot of sides this season.

Parker was saying it was a defensive read by Boyd and it should have been play on.

I agree Boyd deliberately ran into him. Although, JWH also changed his line to run in the direction of Boyd. Keary also received the ball on the inside shoulder and ran behind JWH and gained an advantage from it.

Obstruction.

Happened in a set of 6 the Roosters should never have had. Swings and roundabouts.

Assuming you do mean the Boyd obstruction I think it was the correct call according to how they have called it this year.

I think they have been anally consistent this year so I'm fine with that even though I have disagreed with some obvious milking.

There was an obstruction call in the Knights game today against Fitzgibbon on Frizell which I thought was just as soft as can be and Frizell had zero chance of getting close to Ponga but it was given. If that is the way they call them all then that is the standard and everyone knows it sio it's up to the attacking team to do it right.

How did you see it @Big Pete.
