Not sure really where to post this, but I've just noticed the NRL IOS app severely drains battery life in the background, even with notifications off. If you have it on an iPhone you might want to look at manually turning off the background processes or flicking it off after using it.

Never noticed it before. Watched the game on it on Saturday night. Battery lost 60% overnight, checked the culprit, it was the NRL app doing nothing since. Can't find any way to report it to them. Keep getting the Telstra runaround.
It's battery intensive on the Web because it's constantly refreshing live data.

I think he’s better able to use those attributes coming off the bench as opposed to starting. Also in defence he’s a free quick play-the-ball if he has to make a one-on-one tackle. That’s an area of his game they’ll need to work on.

Hauff and Carne scored 4 tries between them on debut against Newcastle in 1990. Both had an outstanding debut season. I remember first time I saw Hauff on debut and thinking to myself how bloody tall he was there at the back.
I'm pretty sure after that match against Balmain there was a huge controversy with one of the Sydney papers coming out with claims of the Broncos being drug tested after their Canberra win(with the famous Paul Hauff try). I think a lot of people down south thought the side was on drugs when the reality is the club introduced Kelvin Giles to improve the fitness of the club and a proper weights program into the club with players who weren't used to the standard of other NSWRL clubs.

I wouldn't be against trying Flegler out in the second row for this game.
I think he's agile enough to give it a crack. He's been disappointing at prop since the return which is a shame because in the first two rounds, I thought he was quite good.
It would allow us to keep TPJ in the middle and I would prefer to use Flegler there than Ofahengaue.

iOS battery status page says nrl app has used 1% of battery since last charge. Largest is Kayo at 29%.

So I assume Isaako and Boyd in the centres? Just great. Boyd hardly gets the ball and Isaako drops it when he does.
But then maybe Boyd will now get a lot more ball and show us his attacking prowess.

Oates to the centres? Centres are pretty much quicker backrowers these days anyway.
