Exactly, I was going to say this just feels like a different team with a different attitude. That quality of playing down to the opposition seems like something the Seibold team inherited from the later-year Bennett team, and there has been such turnover now - particularly amongst the senior players and leaders - hopefully there's been an attitude reset and they'll be putting in every week, no matter who is lined up across from them.

If TMM is playing it would make sense for him to miss most of training this week, Mead playing fullback though sounds odd if he wasn't there in training even though I agree it would probably be for the best.

Dobbo saying TMM 90% to play and if he doesn’t Mead will play fullback anyway. I’d prefer mead play fullback if TMM doesn’t play. Everytime mead has played he hasn’t let us down and an old head at the back will be better I think. That allows Cobbo to stay on the wing and form that combination with staggs and Reynolds.

Newcastle have a pretty decent forward pack if frizzel is back. We need to match it with them. On form it should be an easy win by 13+ but the fact that we are favourites and expected to win easily has got me very worried. If I’ve learnt anything over the last couple of years it’s expect the broncos to shit the bed in these type of games. I really hope that the boys have their heads screwed on and don’t expect things to just fall into place otherwise I can see a BHQ meltdown of epic proportions Thursday night.

Disagree, teams still lifted for us when we were shit. We never caught that break because they all still hated us. You've got to be shit for a long time before that kind of apathy sets in.

Yeah. I felt this way too. The doggies and other bottom dwellers saw us as their best chance of a win. The Cowboys turned the level to 11 on against us just recently. The top tier teams just needed a good start to put a score on us.
