I think you'll find they actually have 13 tries between them, 8 to Coates and 5 to Isaako.

I'm not counting the conversion points with any relevance because you need tries before you can worry about goals. That's not to discount Isaako's contribution overall, but when I talk about creating points I'm talking about getting over the try line.

Isaako's been good there too and he's actually having a pretty good year, but I don't think he's the consistent attacking threat that someone like Staggs or Coates is at this stage.

He has gotten himself back into a wing spot I just don’t think he’s out 1 going forward

Corey has been better than I expected but I never wanted him to return because I hoped it would force him to look elsewhere and not take up his $500k. Imagine the back we could buy with $500k.

Hetherington, Kennedy and Bullimore are great value for money bench options and all seem like smart and coachable footy players.

Palasia looks the odd one out. Can one of the ISC gurus give us an update on how he's going??

I thought he looked pretty average in the trial at the start of the year, but he might be killing it in ISC.

He could also be a smokescreen for Bull starting or Piakura coming in later.

It's a good post I just want to ask why Milf was never afforded this or an organising halfback? Everyone wants him on the scrap heap, and fair enough based on form, but as I've said ad nauseum he's had to do everything by himself for three years, no wonder he's a wreck.

We finally get a 7 worth a pinch of shit and we're going to try and manufacture a 6 out of a centre.

Milf unfortunately was one of those guys that got the big payday and clocked off. He got comfortable and has been phoning it in pretty much from then.
He simply does not have the desire in him. I hope he finds it because he is great to watch but it's hard to see him playing NRL at all on his current efforts.
I'm sure a club will pick him up, probably Titans, but that will end in tears ( for the Titans ) then the expansion club might give him a lifeline where he will spend the rest of his career being a talented has been.

Crikey, if we are dropping blokes for being poorly positioned we would be dropping the majority of the team, especially every single backline member. I thinks Oatesy has been hard done by.

Usually the "reporters" base their changes on who's playing where during training... given they spotted Kelly and Kobe it seems odd they completely missed Palasia coming into the starting side.

I know I made the argument in the Round 10 thread, but Arthars/Coates were just lucky that Saab was posted on the other wing and they just had to contend with Parker (who should have scored) and Garrick - one of the weakest centre/wing combinations in the game.
