I think just how he plays and what he brings is more suited to coming off the bench tbh. Him coming on with his speed and footwork against tired players if we use him right could be devastating.

I'm getting Allen vibes off Hynes, in a good team he looks good because he has an entire system of players around him who know exactly their roles, but put him in our mess and he can easily turn to mud, I don't know why he is soo desperate to leave Melbourne though it's been a breakout year for him and even though he isn't a starter when everyone is fit he still going to play every game atleast as a 14, he needs to be in that system a little longer to ingrain the skills and confidence that team will give him.

It all depends on price. $400k on 2 years for a serviceable player who can fit at fullback or 5/8 seems like a straight forward decision for a rebuilding club.

He isn't throwing away anything, yeah he could get more money and game time elsewhere but his value just keeps going up each game he plays with that team it's only a good thing for him.

Given how many injured spine players Melbourne have gotten in the last 2 seasons he will never struggle for game time, much more quality football then he will get playing 80 for a battler just losing confidence(especially with V'landy ball).

Relax mate lol, we definitely need changes but there is clearly something wrong with this team and I don't think it's ability it's all mental. This head dropping soft bullshit we have been pulling the last two seasons seems to be contagious no matter who we bring on or coach we change.
