They do look tired and injuries play a part no doubt but there's plenty of sides decimated by injury. I think the style they play is a big factor. Ranking terribly across the league for possession, errors and ineffective tackles and relying on counter attack and long range scoring is gonna be fatiguing.

@Sproj just give me my post game list so I can **** this round off and forget about it.

It is not going to be pretty:
1. Kini (Titans) Was in everything, looks to me to be better than both Brimson and Campbell and more durable'
2. Jafar (Titans) Wingers were a bit non-existent but he did a few things so makes it
3. Kelly (Titans) Whinged enough to get some calls, so good on him
4. Cobbo (Broncos) Could have done more but was still very good
5. Mariner (Broncos) Bombed a try that ended up costly but the other winger was off the field for a while
6. Mam (Broncos) I'm actually not sure who played 6 for the Titans but Mam scored a fantastic try so he gets it
7. Weaver (Titans) I thought Madden was actually pretty good but Weaver did a great covering tackle and kicked well
8. Fotuaika (Titans) Was fantastic, played himself into an origin jersey
9. Verrills (Titans) Walters was awful...again
10. Haas (Broncos) He was better than your average prop but is clearly carrying an injury still
11. Fifita (Titans) Toyed with the Broncs and well, Piakura was pretty poor
12. Fermor (Titans) Riki was decent but Fermor put himself into origin contention
13. Carrigan (Broncos) Honestly, normally this would be a no brainer but he looked well off the pace today, still made a bucket load of tackles though

14. Clark (Titans) Destroyed us as he always does for some reason
15. Willison (Broncos) Seemed one of the few Broncs putting in today
16. Palasia (Titans) He did what he used to do for us
17. Alick-Wiencke (Titans) Look I don't know who really should go here but given how pathetic we were, I'll just give it to a Titan

11-6 to the Titans and I'm probably being generous to us.

Same performance we’ve been dishing up every week.

Way too many stupid errors, getting totally out worked in the middle of the field, no composure to create go-forward momentum and build attack off the back of that, just out-enthused by a hungrier team.

We see it every week and some here label it as ‘winning gritty’ and act like it’s some badge of honour to win when playing poorly - that only applies when it’s one ‘off’ game… not when every game is poor.

We are not even close to the same team as last year, even ignoring injuries. The talent is there, we should be destroying teams but everything we do is soft… our hit ups are soft, our defence is so passive, we are getting dominated physically every game.

Not sure what the problem is, but we are no chance of making a finals run the way we’re playing, and it’s not going to get any easier with Origin coming.

This could be the wake up call we sorely needed.

Dreadful defense. So much dropped ball again.

If we make the eight we go out first game the way we are playing. We don't look anywhere close to Melbourne or Panthers - they'd have put 60+ on us today. So many players just ran straight through us. No fluky chips / kicks - was all just simple through the hands and over or straight through a massive hole.

What’s our problem?

Why are we getting physically dominated throughout the entirety of the 80 minutes? We have the class in the team to keep the score close.. but there has to be a reason as to why we are on the back foot for the majority of the game.

Building pressure is one thing that comes to mind. Strip it all back and run hard, get to 5th and kick to corners. It’s becoming a really concerning trend in our games.

This is not what happened. We never got turned inside out. We dropped the ball, gave away possession and field position and they capitalised on each opportunity. If anyone did the turning inside and outside it was the broncos, they just couldn't help but hand the ball over
An exaggeration. I meant to add in upside down too.

36 points scored against us. No doubt we will reconvene in 4 weeks to again agree...that the broncos are not playing well.

Corey Oates is so far away from first grade level now it’s not funny. He’s an absolute passenger in defence and too slow. When we made the break, any other winger in the comp scores but he can’t because so slow.

Billy Walters was also extra terrible, and Kobe couldn’t tackle anything.

Not a good game at all.

It's all about how we bounce back against the sharks after the bye. Penrith lost against a reserve grade wahs side which was arguably worse than this tits side. Then they come out this weekend and destroyed them.

Difference is Penrith still showed effort in that loss. Warriors had to work for their win.

Titans went through us like we were U7's. That defence was barely reserve grade level.

We make a mistake, give away a penalty and then can't hold them out. Last year, we were holding teams out when we fucked up. This year, 1 side in defence is paper.
Also, I said in the live thread, we seem to be bombing it as a last play option this year, rather than those fast sweeping plays we did last year. Our bombs were pretty ineffective today.

I will watch the game later, but were we bad or just had an off night like every team does occasionally?
We have had a mixed bag of games this year that has ranged from unbeatable to spoon worthy and wondering if we got lucky with the wins or just in a slump?

We were bad and we had an off night, and the Titans wanted it more. It will be a frustrating watch

It looks like the guys had their mind on the bye and staying safe for Origin. Body language was not good and they obviously thought they could blitz the Tits and walk for the rest of the game. The Titans have a decent forward pack that actually wanted the contact today where our guys didn't. To put it simply we lost the middle and as such lost the game. Our forwards need a rev, even Pat who I think had his worse game since his first year in grade.

It has been a more physically demanding year than last with all the injuries and no bye for the first three months of footy. It's not going to get easier so we need to come up with some better footy. Because the high error rate blitzkrieg style footy we play is not conducive to fatigue management. The amount of extra D the boys are doing when it is not required is hurting them. If they can fix the issues we may be able to salvage the year.

An off the game with the ball, but defence was U/6s at time. All the Titans had to do was swing the ball right and they had the Broncos in all sorts.
