Nobody is going to stop the cowboys this year i dont think. Enjoying my very first day of foxtel live games an am very impress with what i am viewing. Cows are like a finely tune machine an have got even better in 2017!

Vossy is the best commentator involved in the game, but his tendancy to over-dramatise a situation shits me. There are times where it seems like he's more interested in his pre-match meal than the footy and he calls every game like he only just started watching Rugby League yesterday. Especially when Shaun Johnson plays - every play Johnson comes up with is the greatest play he's ever seen, until the next week and the week after.
He strikes me as the type of bloke that would have Ben Barba in his Australian side and that doesn't sit well with me either. :laugh:
Tigers/Roosters - Could be the start of a mini-run for Wests. With Taylor, Addo-Carr and Ballin on board, Tedesco back they're beginning to look like a brand new side. As critical as I have been of Taylor, I hope it happens. Origin needs Tedesco, Moses and Brooks firing. I just hope Copley has a big game, I'm happy that he's back sooner than expected.
Rabbitohs/Titans - I hate this fixture. Not because of the two teams playing, but whenever I see a game at nib it just reminds me of Jharal. This feels like a much more relevant fixture of the two and should have real top eight implications. The Rabbits are starting to find their feet albeit with a lot of luck on their side. Meanwhile the Titans are like the real Rugby League cockroaches (sorry NSW) in that they never die. I hope they pull off another unlikely victory - the Titans against all odds making the 8 in 16 would be a nice narrative.

Roosters and Tigers are putting on a good show considering the conditions. 3 tries have been scored and there has barely been any mistakes.

That was a good win to the Roosters.
Lost Liu and Mitchell at pivotal moments, they could have easily gone into their shell but they were resilient and frustrated the Tigers into error. Impressive stuff particularly from their pack. Friend led from the front all day and the likes of Taukeiaho, Warea-Hargreaves and Guerra had the measure of the Wests pack.
The loss of Ballin prior to the game really hurt the Tigers. Given how much footy Farah has missed this season and the importance of this game, I don't understand Taylor's decision to rest Farah. The Tigers looked completely lost at sea without a dummy half. To make matters worse, they had to get Elijah to fill in and that took away an important middle third option for them. In these conditions, his ball-playing would have made a big difference.

**** me the Titans had this won more than once. Extra time on the bell and all the momentum with the Rabbits. I've tipped the Titans along with the Dogs as my upsets and as usual with my upsets you have to live every minute.
