POST GAME [Round 15, 2023] Broncos vs Knights

I've legit not stopped watching that try since I got home, and as good as the Reyno/Ezra combo was, Kobe, take a fucking bow.

His work in this play was incredible. The way he pokes the head through and works the pass to Reyno is simply sublime. 👌

Knights best chance of winning that was in that final play before the penalty.

Best threw the ball the wrong way. Marzhew was unmarked at that point. He beat Reynolds and Staggs and had Hetherington and Walsh drawn in. If he had got his body in a position to be able to throw it left, Knights had a pretty good chance of scoring.

When was the last time we won a penalty / infringement count?
Remember this gem?

Annesley said that teams at the bottom end of the ladder often concede more penalties because they have less possession so are therefore doing more defending.

“You are much more likely to commit offences when you are defending than when you are attacking - you will be offside more and you are much more likely to be committing offences in the rucks.

Interesting, that despite being at the top of the ladder it doesn't seem to have changed for us?

I thought billy walters was excellent with his kicking. He was a touch unlucky not to get at least on 40-20 and overall he was very goid. Reynolds was struggling to find the right purchase on it and those kicks from dummy half take the pressure off him. Probably macca's influence. Those little darts probing the line remind me of kerrod walters where hed have forwards linking up as well.
Kerrod Walters??
One player was quick and inciteful the other is a slug.
I don't want to bag Billy because he is improving but he seriously has no idea when to run, its just guessing and sometimes it's correct.
He has to run to keep the markers honest so I want to believe it's a part of his development to learn when to go but geez he kills some momentum for us.

Thought I hate Storm Cheats, Eels, Cowgirls, Rotters & Souffs but boy, didn’t payed much attention to Knights.

With a team sheet that have
Gamble,
Hastings,
Eliott,
Thompson,
Hetherington,
Safitis,
Mann,
Crossland,
Gagai &
Frizell all coached the biggest arrogant fuckhead coach in Adam O’brein, I don’t reckon this entire setup will fall short of other lunatic arrogant morons. They’re up there with other rowdy teams.

whether you agree or disagree Gamble is another player that Broncos improved his career prospects, it's proof that playing for Broncos improves your career.

Our record of rejuvenating careers the last few years has been unbelievable. The media would be going hysterical if bellamy or bennett did even 1 of martin, jensen, gamble or hosking. We should and could use this as a recruitment tool.

Definetly a sign of good coaching....
