If he's not injured then he has been dropped, it's a 7 day gap between Origin and our next game.

Can understand why too, you take out that amazing try saving tackle where he ran faster than everyone else then he's been very ordinary, not just for us either. If Mulitalo was eligible they would've dropped him from the Origin side too.

You'd imagine it's about developing him, he's not going to get much out of playing for us as we are getting belted every week

it's a classic development move.

give them a taste of the top grade ... then send them back to work on a few things in the lower grades without all the pressure that comes with playing in the NRL

I don't think Cobbo made any mistakes so could quite easily just be about sending him back to play some fullback for the rest of the year... who knows they might bring Cobbo back at fullback for the last couple rounds if Niu has a few shockers.

Gave Cobbo a taste and confirmed he's capable of playing NRL level... I'd suggest more capable than Coates given he can actually make meters.

Now we send him back to learn a position of need, but know he is a viable option heading into the back end of the year and next year

In case any of you weren't aware of the injuries from Sunday. This is why Piakura, Hunt, Kelly and Piakura are unavailable. Cobbo and Arthars are coming back from head knocks.
