POST GAME [Round 17, 2023] Broncos vs Titans

Because it’s supposed to be a voluntary tackle which is a penalty to the defending team. Ofc it’s never called
It’s actually been eradicated from the rules. Still the players don’t touch the ball carrier in hopes for a call that’s never coming.

Walsh needs to pull his ego back in.

Herbie needs to figure out how to pass - bombed opportunities and stifled sets.

Reynolds lacked game control.

The team looked flat and playing at 60%. Terrible.
We were awful but didn't give up. We did have about three tries we bombed. That Walsh to Oates play just needed to be executed literally 1 second earlier and it was game over. Walsh had an absolute shocker but like the team, never gave up.
I don't think Reece had a shocker. He makes the most errors in the NRL because he takes the most risks in the NRL. I think you have to take the rough with the smooth with him. When it pays off, he's spectacular. I do think he probably shouldn't have played, though. Especially when Sailor is perfectly serviceable.

Farkin decided to start putting in with 20mins to go...................its games like that where we could win easily but can't be bothered to put in the extra that really annoy me the most.

Too much selfish plays. Forgive-able game given Origin players were backing up, Cobbo coming off a hip injury didn't look 100%. Could've won the game with some close no-tries. They just didn't gel as a team today.

We aren’t winning any completion this year. Just far too inconsistent to trouble the best teams.

That Fifita dive though just ticks me off. I also don't blame him, he is playing to the current system. The refs were supposed to not be rewarding dives yet here we are.

Are you dead set fucking kidding? Lay off the turps.

He tried too hard and pushed way to many situations that on the risk v reward scale dont add up to winning rugby league. There's a time and place for all things, but today he wanted to be a super hero off everything. He will have to learn that being a super hero requires picking and choosing the time - not trying every time.

It's a annoying how we don't turn up against lower opposition, we had great chance at home on beautiful Sunday afternoon against a team who lost their coach and captain to boost our for and against

He'll look great in red.
He can **** off now the way he's been playing for the past 2 months.

So livid, these ***** didn't want the win badly enough. Atrocious officiating. Walsh was dogshit for the most part, still flashes of brilliance but should have been rested. We struggle when Payne and Patty are off, this is very different to earlier in the year. Reyno was awful too, we need a lot better from him ffs.

Real fears the slide is starting again. Reign it in Kev, ffs.

I'd be flogging the fark out of them at training on Monday, I don't give a fark if it wears them out for the Dolphins...............you don't serve up that shit at home in a very winnable game.

Seemed to be still buzzing from origin. Should have been rested. Probably could have rested all of our origin players.
