It was a typical broncos flat performance in a game we should have won, seen it all before.

We had our chances in the first half, but our attack from set starts in the 20m is really poor and has been all year and just isn’t improving. The ruck was very slow too, which didn’t help.

Reynolds and Mam rarely find the in goal on grubbers either after they’ve inevitably run out of ideas.

We need to set ourselves deeper and get Staggs some decent ball for once to give him a running chance. I’m sick of seeing forward after forward hitting and spinning for a soft offload out the back before the ball goes wide to a back standing flat.

Our line speed was poor too, titans were often getting 60m sets, it wasn’t until the game was nearly over that they decided to get off their line.

Cobbo was way off the pace, I’m sure the weather played a part, but he looks unfit.

We were awful but didn't give up. We did have about three tries we bombed. That Walsh to Oates play just needed to be executed literally 1 second earlier and it was game over. Walsh had an absolute shocker but like the team, never gave up.
Someone did give up though, a couple of times…

Clearly still so mentally weak, it’s pretty worrying.
Hindsight says you rest Walsh and Cobbo at a bear minimum. Sailor and Arthurs would have offered more in those two positions tonight imo.
Wayne will have Phins revved Up for this one and we will have to be back to our best otherwise it’ll be a long night.

I thought with walsh at fullback we’d see better offloads around the ruck but it still never happens. Our support play is non existent and when we do offload, they do nothing because no one wants it.

That Fifita dive though just ticks me off. I also don't blame him, he is playing to the current system. The refs were supposed to not be rewarding dives yet here we are.
He took like 3 dives. One right at the very end he cried out in pain and the ref stopped the clock because it was just time wasting

We don’t attack like a top 4 side, we never seem to look like we know what we are doing until we do it, we need some set plays to fall back on.

Reynolds has been down on form for a few weeks now, his short kicking game has been pretty average all year.

I think they are trying too hard to play dazzle dazzle football instead of just playing fast & direct and using our size to go up the middle and then playing off the back of that. We are at our best going 1-2 punch with Haas & Carrigan, but lately they are more interested in looking for offloads.

Butler aside, we consistently let average and shit teams play their grand final against us, and seem to be constantly shocked by it.

Some games like vs Knights, 20 good mins is enough to win the game, today it wasn't.

Thought Reyno, Cobbo and Herbie were very ordinary and Walsh was back to trying too hard on every play to be the hero.

Cliche', but you really hope that loss shows us we arent all we are being cracked up to be.
