I daresay Kev believes if you say you're right, you give 100%. Was not the case with Cobbo tonight, but he's not alone either.

A 300+ game aus rep’s experience wouldn’t hurt rn. We need the senior players to get the younger players in line and playing calm footy.

Meanwhile I thought Mo and Fifita were outstanding for the Gold Coast. They just led the way for their team, and the players got on the back of it. Boyd kicked well and they controlled field position better than the Broncos in that second half.

The Titans put in a blinder and looked the better team. Yet, no credit to the bounce, we almost beat them.

We were out enthused by yet another bottom 8 side this time the Titans. Cobbo is obviously not fit and was just awful and Reynolds had an absolute howler of a game. The glacial speed of the ruck helped the Titans and we really didn't start moving off the line till there was 20 minutes to go.

Despite a Titans try off a blatant ref error just before halftime and a dubious bunker ruling on Fifita being obstructed I'm glad we didn't win that as an ugly game otherwise the players would think this level of garbage they served up is acceptable.

Walters was doing his headless chook runs from dummy half again that went nowhere and just stifled our attack. We looked so much better once Smoothy came on. Walters should be seeing 20-25 minutes at most as he looks gassed by this stage and his defence becomes turnstile like and his dummy half work then looks Turpin like.

The coach has to do what Slater does and get into Reece Walsh's ear about this trying to score off every play shit that he comes up with.

It's got to the point that Kevvy must be considering dropping Herbie for Mariner. His defence is good but his inability to pass or even consider setting up Oates is costing us tries and all the defences are right onto him stepping off his left back into the ruck.

On the ref. He was just poor.

Probably were always going to come out and not be 100% after our first bye of the year. We looked slow and were bad but we were still in the game to the end.
Next week is the real test of how we react after that performance.
