POST GAME [Round 17, 2023] Broncos vs Titans

Really poor performance, and Reynolds really failed as a leader today. He needed to get into Walsh and get him to calm the **** down. 5 errors and multiple penalties, while calling the ref a ****.

Herbie back to his worst when it comes to passing, Oates walks in if he does a simple catch and pass that a local A grader could hit.

Oates, Carrigan and Haas all good pretty much as usual.

The right hand side defence was absolutely putrid.

Lol. The frantic bedwetters on this page after an average game is pathetic. This year no team has been stellar every week. The competition is too close for that.
That's true, just remembered the tigers beat penrith earlier this year. It happens.

As much as I love Sunday games from a fan perspective ... this meme perfectly sums up the playing groups feelings:

The other concern with Cobbo (which fits the issues that Cult raised) is that he was effectively dropped from Origin as far as I can see, and I would have hoped that he would be motivated to come out and have a blinder to press his case for Origin 3. Instead, he did everything to confirm for Billy that the decision to drop him was the right one. Worrying signs.
This is what I posted over in the Cobbo thread when Slater was asked about Cobbo not playing a couple of weeks ago.

Anyone watch NRL360 tonight when they had Slater on? He made an odd comment regarding Cobbo.

Braith asked him was Cobbo just not fit to play or was he. Slater's response "sometimes you're fit to play but not 100%".

Probably nothing in it but just a weird way to answer that question. Implied that it may be a mental thing... Why not just say we weren't comfortable with his fitness??

Can't say I'm a big fan of the players commenting on social media about events that haven't even been reviewed yet. Don't think Dave will be pleased.
I’m actually happy to see the players call out the muckraking click bait journalism!

Think walshy is a dick tho with his recent arguing with the ref, he really needs to rein it in. It’s a bad look for the kids.

Hard to win when you only turn up for the last 20mins.

Won't matter if it's Bhunt or CS9 that turns up... because we still ain't winning anything with the current mentality

in response to Warren Smith ... A more recent example was from a player who used very similar wording. this player only copped a week, and that was Brandon Smith.

I do expect Walsh's charge to be closer to Joey's though. NSWRL will want him out of origin 3 (not to mention take a weapon away from us)

Warren Smith clearly has something against the Broncos. The bloke came out yesterday and had a dig at us for allegedly going after Hunt also.
As for Reece, he needs to pull his head in, it’s quickly becoming far too big, and he will become a player much like Luai who everyone loves to hate. He has the chance now to cut it out of his game and hopefully he has a look at himself.
As for his language on field, it’ll be hard for the NRL to prove that Reece was in fact calling the ref a c. He didn’t say “you’re a c” and he claims he was talking to a player when using the language. I think they will struggle to prove that it was 100% directed at the ref. In saying that, a week off wouldn’t be the worse thing for Reece.

Cobbo's had two weeks off hasn't he? Why did he need resting?
Because he is fat, slow, lazy and has clearly never even heard the word “professional” let alone comprehends it’s meaning.

My question is how do they miss Herbie been taking out on that last break? He wouldn't have scored but you can't take someone out
