It's a slippery slope unfortunately. We saw the lack of effort last yearAnybody would think you blokes are coming 10th. Calm down. Leading the comp.

Odd way to phrase it - was he actually suspended or just charged?
He was suspended, but he challenged the severity of the charge and it was downgraded to two weeks.
I think when he is referring to attitude, it's more about respecting the ball and opposition, building pressure, stupid errors/penelties, defending/attacking together, line speed and all the other 1% efforts that us fans probably don't even notice.I've never been a big fan of blaming losses on "attitude" like Kevvie did this week. Does it mean not trying hard enough? As in throwing a blanket over the whole team and calling them lazy? Really?
If the team has an "attitude problem" is that their collective fault or is "attitude" something the coach is meant to manage? I don't buy into it.
For starters, he selected Haas, Carrigan, Flegler and Walsh backing up from Origin. You can't expect to get 100% from players backing up from Origin. But all four looked like they were busting their guts. Flegler looked pissed off when he was pinged, and then combined with Carrigan to score a try. Walsh, most are saying was "trying too hard." It's true his attitude needs adjustment, for being too cocky though, not lazy.
Cobbo looked injured and shouldn't have been selected. Is that the wrong attitude? Or is it on selector?
Can anyone name the players who looked like they had the "wrong attitude?"
I will say I think we missed Kurt Capewell, and that maybe that's why everyone is shitting on Herbie today. He does more on that edge than he's given credit for.
I don't like saying this but if I were to point my finger at one player who let us down in that match, it's the captain. First for not corralling his team effectively - not least of all keeping Walsh in his box - and second for being ineffective in attack as the chief playmaker. Unfortunately with Adam, he's runs a little hot and cold. We know he's capable of so much more.I think he said in the press conference that Cobbo "put his hand up to play, so he needs to own it". Which is fair enough.
He was talking to me. I clearly heard "McHunt"Who was he talking to and what did he say in full?
Yea, when Reynolds has a bad game the whole team seems to fall apart. Hopefully it's out of his system now. Maybe having Ben Hunt will help balance that team management stuff out a bit.I don't like saying this but if I were to point my finger at one player who let us down in that match, it's the captain.
