We should be looking at getting Klese Haas and/ or Sitili for next year. Both of those players fill the role of the hybrid 2rf/ middle that we so desperately need. If we had Sitili this year I’d probably play him at 2rf over piakura tbh

We need to take a leaf out of the rorter’s book of axing players they don’t want and get rid of Baker, Hunt, and Gosi.
Haas can play middle, edge and centre. Keeps Payne happy too should be a signing priority. Apparently close to re-signing with Titans though

Our middles are losing every single week. Even with Patty and Haas, they even things up. But it's why they're forced to put up with so many minutes cause we get smashed without the both of them on.

None of our backs has the threat and quick play the ball of Herbie to turn a set around.

Oh man this is painful.

Awful first half, pathetic. The saving grace was we weren’t out of it points wise.

Improved 2nd half but couldn’t quite find that continued pressure when we got within touching distance.

Sailors positioning was woeful. Mariners ball handling so frustrating.
Baker…….. almost put my foot into the tv…..

Plus for me is Willison, showing his quality.

Panthers next up….. I may have hit my head, I reckon we’re going to win. Nurse, my pills please…..

We haven't been close to this bad, and we haven't had many games with our full squad all year, it looks worse then it actually is but yes it is still bad.
Well, I'd contend we have been this bad even at full strength. The difference is we tend to have a lot of points in us at full strength which paints over the cracks.

This is not a well prepared team. There's no two ways about that.

Broncos '23 would put 60 on these pretenders. They are a shadow of their fitness from last season and you can't lay that on injuries alone.

The amount of errors even without Reece being fast and loose are still there. We're good for a dozen brain dead monents a game and that's a coaching failure.

We're not contending highballs well - if at all. That Kaloamatangi try last game was an embarrasment - cross field kick, everyone ball watching.

Players are not clear on their responsibilities. Players are not getting drilled hard enough at training to reduce the errors. Players are not fit enough to reduce the errors.

Week in week out, we're losing the ruck. We give away penalties and six agains, yet against us, they lay all over us. Either that's clear cheating by the Ref or we have a major coaching issue on how to do it right.

Bennett has shown time and time again how he can take a roster of fucking nobodies and at least make them defend hard for 80.

This is dead set a club issue, most likely a coaching one.

Absolute garbage as per expectation, I'm not really sure why I bothered to sit through that.

Sailor can fark off, I'm sick of his lazy ass. Mariner, Staggs and Cobbo need a brain transplant.

Baker can piss off as well, just useless, he is robbing is of cap and squad space.

Madden is not good enough to be a Brisbane Broncos half back.

Everything this year from recruitment, training, tactics, technique, skills, bench use, its all just absolute garbage.

Our fwd issue was highlighted in the sharks game after half time when both sides brought their bench forwards on. We just got absolutely steamrolled and lost the game in a 20 minute window

Come Round 20 when everyone is expecting to see him back, if we're sitting around 11th to 13th I would not be surprised at all to see Walters come out and throw up the white flag on 2024 and rest Reynolds until next season.

If teams can contain Payne and patty then they have the upper hand. They don’t have the support of Flegler and a in form Palasia. Backs aren’t giving us any momentum compared to last season

Mariner got 2 tries and tops the scoring for the league.

I'll be amazed if he is dropped, as the tries are obviously masking the general form.
Mariner obviously has raw speed to burn but his hands are just ordinary. All week at training he needs to do nothing else but catch bombs and kicks along the ground.

For a team down on confidence and not have our two rep forwards, we were always getting dominated. Couple that with losing two forwards to injury before half time and having no territory, we were always losing this game.

I’m hoping baker never gets picked again this season. His knock on set the tone early once again and put us straight on the back foot. Surely the sailor project ends tonight.

FMD, Stags just said post-game that there was nothing that needed to change.? Well 4 losses in a row Kotoni, might be one important stat to change ! Seriously, I believe this team under KW is now on the skids. Sorry but these performances are beyond dogshit. No need to elaborate , just big changes need to be seriously considered Broncos because this is just not NRL standard. Panthers next week I just can't wait.

We are in this position due to some really questionable recruitment and retention decisions since Ben Ikin left. At full strength, we are a top 8 side, but even slightly depleted, we become a bottom 8 side. The disparity between our first choice and reserve players is too big.

Ikin made some good value signings while he was here, but it only worked because our full strength team was good quality. We've since lost some key players, and have decided not to recruit any like-for-like replacements.

Instead of replacing the players we lost, It's like we tried to repeat what Ikin did and sign some depth players in their place. However, we've completely missed the mark by some margin. The likes of Baker, Sailor, etc are barely reserve grade standard, yet we are forced to play them in first grade due to there being nobody better.

It's hard to see how this season gets better until we have our full strength team playing uninterrupted for the remainder of the year.

It doesn't and we can't go into next year with the same squad, the club is going to need to do some serious work with this squad.

It'll be another tough year if the club sits on it's hands, doesn't make changes and then expects the results to change.

Was not a fan of shifting Cobbo to the forwards when he was the only one posing a threat on the left edge. If we needed to bring Karapani on, there were other ways to do that without dulling our only point of attack.
