It doesn't and we can't go into next year with the same squad, the club is going to need to do some serious work with this squad.

It'll be another tough year if the club sits on it's hands, doesn't make changes and then expects the results to change.

Had to find the cash to upgrade Walsh from 400/600k to 1.2m+ (fair enough, he’s probably going to be the best player in the game soon). Mam and Cobbo were/ are also due massive upgrades and then we have jrs like Black and Mozer that we need to keep. Zero reward for jr development from the nrl doesn’t really help.

We deserved that. Just plain dumb football. I'm surprised some of the Warriors forwards didn't start getting cramps they had to run that far before they hit our defensive line. I don't know what happened to Hetherington his hits in defence have virtually disappeared and his runs are sideways and pedestrian.

Baker is an outright dud. He just needs to be told he won't be getting another run and it's probably best to look elsewhere. There must be guys running around in Q Cup that would be better than Baker.

The dropped balls are just killing us. Mariner had a shocker and will see plenty of bombs from the riff next week. Has Cobbo played in a game this year where he hasn't lost the ball in attack? Someone also has to get in Cobbo's ear and remind him that he's no longer a winger and if he makes a break down the sideline and looks cornered just angle back into the infield and take the tackle instead of getting bundled into touch, again.

I thought Piakura showed a bit of ticker in this game and X man was easily our best forward on the field. Big Marty needs to go back on the bench in place of the dud that is Baker.

Willison made 50 odd meters for the game. Great he scored a try but didn't really do much going forward.

I understand the need to upgrade those three, but you can't neglect the rest of the squad, which is what we have done. Neither of them are good enough or consistent enough to demand top dollar.

Nothing annoyed me more than watching Sailor be miles out of position on the kick in behind for the warriors to score in that second half, and here is Sailor just ambling over like farken one of Brown's cows.....no desperation........expecting somebody else to do the work.

Marty was definitely better than Baker and Hetherington have been this year…

We miss the 8 this year, probably get smashed next week, and 6-8 games in to 2025 we will be looking for a new coach.

I actually thought we did well to stay in the game, it could have been 30-0 at half time.

Ezra Mam took a poor option late in the game and then we didn't get another chance.

Who decided Staggs was the man over Herbie? Can't make meters out of our own end to save himself, just gets held up and pushed back.

We have always prioritised flashy players over metres gained and workrate which absolutely blows my mind considering it's been the meta since 6 again was introduced. Just look at the Panthers and now the Bulldogs, Gould figured this shit out a while back.
