Edwards is literally better than any fullback in the comp. He carries more. He is stronger than every one of them (fullbacks). Just as fast. Positionally he is fantastic. Effort is simplified by fitness. Name a better fullback for 80 min. How is he stronger than RTS? How is he in more plays than Walsh?

Some great carries by Oates and a great hit on the Riff centre in defence but he is just too lacking in acceleration to be a winger anymore. Possibly good for a bench forward who is injected for 10 minutes either side of each half to give Haas or Patty a rest and as injury covers for a back.
or... he is a handy backup to have as an experienced winger and if injuries to our main wingers or centres happen he can step up and fill in... ah yeah, that is what he is doing

On penrith's sets running out from their end, he always takes the 4th tackle hit up too, and he is always getting a nice early held call, and always gets a quick play the ball for the last tackle as a result.

Same way Liam Martin look like a body builder and play at full tilt for 80 minutes or Too pushes back three forwards.

It’s really nothing like that. People are salty because he's not as quick as he used to be. Thats about all that was wrong with his performance tonight. We are down to our bare bones really at the moment. Throwing unproven, not ready kids into the team is going to harm their development. Might as well pick a bloke who is a pretty steady performer and can handle the criticism over some of these young blokes until we get some troops back.
Sadly, it really is like that.
Pick Sailor on the wing instead.
Can’t be much worse (and he has been shit this year) or pick Karapani. Then have Rogers on the bench. Anyone.
Let Corey go with dignity.

I probably wasn't specific enough. I meant bench forward who can cover an injured back during the game. I don't believe with his lost speed he should start as a winger anymore.

Walsh hasn't been the same since getting KOed in Origin.
The amount of love shown for him is ridiculous. Doesn't dig in to the line, and is not a defensive fullback.
Playing out of position

I think, as others have pointed out, that there is very little choice besides throwing in a kid to the wolves. Our other experienced backup wingers are all injured

Despite the effort, which was very good, we again played a lot of the game at our end. I dunno what the answer is, I think we need more out of dummy half, maybe bench Jensen for Wilison and get a bit more speed & aggression up front to better compliment haas.

We also have a habit of putting in a good kick chase, and show good linespeed but someone will get stuck at the ptb for one tackle and we’ll concede 15m and be defending another attacking kick and having to work it off our 20m again.

Biden would give Corey a run for his money on the wing.

Sailor would have been smashed tonight, and Karapani hasnt really been brilliant either. We have just ended up in a position that isnt ideal for us to have to select him as much on the wing as we have.
