Gillett was always playing on the right fringe, it's just Hook being more transparent about it.

In reality our 8, 10 and 13 are interchangable. Hook has just pull the wool over a lot of people's eyes.

Seems like they're pretty hellbent on going down with the ship.

On the plus side... Full strength? Besides Dodds.

I sortof agree, but I would sit him down and tell him "this is your chance to prove your worth."

Griffin did that. And he was then pulled in his next game after just 10-15 mins. Never to see a Broncos jersey again.

I think the problem with the broncos is no one is a menace on field. We need a greg bird, ennis or A jared waerea-hargreaves to get into the head of the opposition. We aren't fierce enough because we don't have a fierce enough coach.

Manly have been dobbed the toughest team in the NRL because they have a tough coach who doesn't take any excuses. Bulldogs? Roosters?? for which the two I mentioned above play? where are they on the ladder??

yeah, i think these guys have been given a license to niggle by their coaches. I don't want us to be dirty grubs, but I want us to tackle harder and hit the line with fucking balls!

Griffin doesn't teach our players to be ruthless, because he doesn't know how to do it himself. He's a pussy. He honestly doesn't have the balls to take a "risk" and pull hoffman. Pathetic.

I'm with Marty... I do think the way our team plays is a reflection of its coach. I don't care about the niggle, but we have to become ruthless, and we're not!

Kennedy needs a rocket, but I don't think he deserved to be sacked when he was for a single mistake. But that is for another discussion...

Manly Dogs game was awesome because everyone ran with a "tackle me if you dare" attitude. McGuire runs with aggression, Hannant has that look of "I'll push the defensive line as far as I can", but no one runs like they want to hurt the defenders.

Pretty much. Having Macca and Parker back is huge. I really feel we'll see just how much we missed them.

Ideally I'd have Granville on the bench for Lowrie or Hala too. Hannant / Oates /Granville us a pretty decent 3/4 for a bench. If Kennedy makes it back from injury and pulls his finger out, that'd be tops (but unlikely).

I don't think he was dropped for one mistake...I suspect it was more the final straw after a few months of timid performances.

Excellent point. Guys like Tallis, Gee, Ryan etc had that in bucket loads. Guys that made the opposition think twice about tackling them.

I can see griffin giving Hoffman first crack at 5/8th next season since he'll be the incumbent. Milford to bulk up in qcup too
