Read, Badel & Mayne have a piece on TPJ in the CM that's not as vicious as some of the various headlines make out, but it should be enough to get him worked up. I predict another suspension on the way.

Most of it's fairly benign, and complimentary, especially the quotes from Walters etc. This is the only real nut punch:

"Donaghy and Walters admired Pangai Jr’s quest for reformation, but like a rocky marriage that had endured too many tumultuous moments, there was a sense the forward was carrying too much emotional baggage. Brisbane bosses had tired of Tevita’s slew of suspensions. They were concerned about his preparation for games, and the potential to model poor habits for Brisbane’s emerging crop, such as TC Robati, Payne Haas, Pat Carrigan and Jordan Riki, at a critical stage of their development."

Kobe doesn't ask, he takes.
In all seriousness, he is actually going to have to put in some big performances to get that 13 shirt of Carrigan if plays like he did last week. Not just him either, we have plenty of competition for the prop role ( with Flegler the big one if he can sort his discipline out ) and it wouldnt hinder us having Carrigan at 13. Its a great position for us as a team to be in. Genuine competition for spots cant be a bad thing.

Yep if Carrigan plays like last week and even adds to it, he won’t only be lock for us, he’ll be there for QLD.

At fully fit and available, based in Carrigan building on last week, having Hetherington on the bench gives our side an added dimension because we get great work ethic out of 13 for the full 80 and Hetherington can bring defensive starch during the middle of games and provide cover for 9 if injuries really hit during the game.

8. Carrigan
10. Flegler
13. Carrigan

15. Palasia
16. Hetherington

That’s quite the middle rotation, especially once Willison returns and pushes for a spot in there too.

Carrigan unlucky to miss out on the 10 jersey.

Well timed Badel you bottom of the barrel turd.

Denan Kemp reckons he will captain QLD - and tipped us last week - but doesn't have us making the 8 this season.

TPJ has joined a list of ex-broncos who I enjoy watching as an NRL fan but am glad our success no longer depends on their performance: Hunt, Milford, TPJ, Isaako next year, previously Corey Norman, James Roberts, Nikorima.

They’re good moments are brilliant and their implosions just as entertaining.

The thing with Carrigan is he could have done exactly the same job at prop.

Not enough Carrigan in that list.

Surely their is a market for TPJ trying to make sure Reyno only plays one game this year.
If there’s a suspension to be had in this game, that’s it I reckon.

Surprised there is a lack of talk on Palasia playing 13. He showed last week he has ball playing ability, which allows Carrigan up front with Haas.
