100m? he will get a season ending cramp with such work.Completely disagree, I've had enough of him being lazy and not putting in the hard work like our other backs. I want him up over 100m gained like the rest of our backs.
Staggs was awesome in defence. After putting on a few shots early, penriths centre wasn't running any lines and lui kept running back infield away from him or threw rushed passes.Re-watch last week’s game, the amount of clean up work Toeni did in defense was amazing. We had almost no ball in that second half and every time we did, Oates or Cobbo dropped it. So you can’t use last week as a yardstick for attack, plus the ball rarely went right. Staggs was excellent last week, put in effort upon effort.
Dude seems to do a lot of the kick chases, and sprints up in defence. Maybe they save his energy for that.Completely disagree, I've had enough of him being lazy and not putting in the hard work like our other backs. I want him up over 100m gained like the rest of our backs.
He just needs to make his tackles (something he did really well against Penrith) and provide the odd moment in attack, if he does that every week then I really don't know what else can be asked of him.
wouldnt mind a game from him where he is on in attack just to remind coaches each week what they have to game plan for would do wonders for riki and cobbo.I'd expect more than that from our top earning back. You dont pay a bloke the kind of money he's on to just be a solid defensive player. You can get players just making their tackles and providing an odd attacking moment for half the money he is on. We need him to be that threat in attack again as well as keep his defence solid.
Must admit though, dont get the criticism of him against Penrith. I thought he had a good game.

The odd scoot from dummy half wouldn't hurt....eh?He just needs to make his tackles (something he did really well against Penrith) and provide the odd moment in attack, if he does that every week then I really don't know what else can be asked of him.
Where would you suggest he look? The odd scoot from dummy half wouldn't hurt....eh?
I'd like to see him go looking for the ball.
Crazy thought, but what if he got a licence to roam and support like a Turbo in origin. I know fitness can be an issue, but how often do you see centres smack in the middle of the field adding an extra man in support?! When fit, Turbo does it better than most (in Origin).Where would you suggest he look?
Who issues those?Crazy thought, but what if he got a licence to roam
I sense a sarcastic undertone, but I’ll bite..Who issues those?

Agreed. Definitely has the tools. You’re also right that brains and desire are a key ingredient. He's got the tools to do it. Not sure he's got the brains.
