Honestly, I'm embarrassed.

How the **** could we not win that? How?

We had so many chances and just blew it every time with dumb play.

We are meant to have one of the best rosters in the game and we keep finding a way to lose when everything is literally going our way.

This isn't rust. This is just a team that has no fucking idea what to do and relies on luck to win these contests.

They were down to 14 men and we still couldn't get over the top of them.

Agreed, and they seem to be building a culture of it.

I had to walk away from the tv in the last 2minutes because I knew, and I think we all knew what was coming.

Every team needs a player like arrow who can work his ass off defending. He's got more than that but at this stage what he does is fine. Its not setting the world in fire, but i havent seen him stuff up with a brain fade either, and every offload he's done has hit its mark. Give him time.

I get it. He does a job. But I think the bench needs some variation.

TPJ also was pretty impressive while on with 8 runs for 81 metres.

Hopefully we can get some more minutes out of him as the season goes on.

Well disappointed with the result but the game was a cracker. We have a team right there who can go all the way. The cowboys are a clutch team with the best half in the game who is probably the best clutch player of all time. There were bad calls either way, we had our chances and we blew it.

Man Herman was an absolute beast tonight, actually I am very happy with the bench. Milf and Hunt both played very well but for a few hiccups. Macca was very good tonight. That was a very positive game, showed a shit load of class and will be the game of the round. This is game two gentlemen don't hate on the boys, they gave it everything. They have work to do don't get me wrong but if they keep building and playing for each other their in this season with a big chance. Just my opinion, personally I think golden point sucks.

For those playing at home..

Sims - 7 runs for 72 metres
Blair - 10 runs for 107 metres

Good amount of metres per run, just not enough runs from your starting props, we really need our starting forwards to be taking more than 7 hit-ups in total. Matt Scott had 8 hit-ups and he left the field with about 20 minutes remaining. We should be aiming for Sims & Blair to both be taking at least 12 hit-ups each per game.

Refs aside, and they did decide the game, I think that we have far more upside than the Cows. All of our benchies look like they're improving, and our pack actually looks menacing; I'm extremely happy with the Sims inclusion. The Cows look to have picked up a few injuries, which hopefully bites them in the ass over the next few weeks after the highway robberies that they and the NRL pulled on us and the Raiders. Bolton is shit house, and if Taumalolo ever goes down they'll miss the eight comfortably.

All we need to do is look at the Raiders' season in 2016: they copped a few rough losses/ clear cut incompetence from the referees like we did tonight, but still finished top four.

EDIT: I did notice that Bennett gave our bench forwards more time tonight, especially Pangai and Ese'Ese

Just re-watched the first try to the Cowboys and it confirmed my earlier suspicions.

When he was over the line he was held by Milford and Moga and then Morgan came over and helped pushed him out of the tackle.

Can you do that?

I personally think that if Morgan doesn't get involved he doesn't score.
