Perhaps it's confirmation that Parcell is off to the Titans?

I love what Parcell has done off the bench for us, but Nikorima makes more sense, he's got a little bit more spark and x-factor than Matt, and has the ability to score a try from anywhere.

This could also be an indicator that Parcell is signing with the Titans.

Happy with Oates on the wing although copley on the bench is puzzling. I'm assuming that him and Oates will swap come Friday unless bennett sees copley moving into the backrow?

Nikorima is interesting, I wonder if this is confirmation of Parcell to the Titans or whether bennett just prefers Nikorima. I'm happy either way TBH because I really like what Kodi brings

I look at this game nearly the same as the Tigers last week.

If we're fair dinkum about winning the premiership we are not going to let out of form, inconsistent teams that are well below us on the ladder beat us.

Mentally this will be a good test as we are expected to win comfortably. Our second half start against the Tigers was bad. I'd like to see us show some intent for the full 80.

Copley wasted on the bench, I'll say he will be starting kahu on the wing with Copley in centre and Oates on the bench. Looks like your getting your way Foordy. Seriously hope he goes well.

It's suspicious timing. Parcell hasn't put a foot wrong on the field and has been getting better with each game, but within a week of Dobbo's report of Parcell joining the Titans, he's out of the team?

It wouldn't be the first time Bennett demotes a player who is thinking of or is actually going elsewhere.

Why would the Titans name him? The June 30 deadline is up, they can't bring him in.

We'll know more later, but it's an interesting selection none the less.

Gonna be interesting to see how the rotation works this game, just hope Copley can get through the match and gain some confidence.

No your right about Barba in that his improved since leaving the Broncos and good on him though early on you would have to agree he was definitely struggling, I still don't think it was a mistake on the Broncos part to let him go though. Especially with the talent coming through. He would have commanded a lot of the salary cap into the future and if he didn't improve it could have really put us in a really bad position to retain key players coming through the ranks. Barba I don't hold a grudge for really anyway, Hoggman I have no time for though.

Totally agree. I have no doubt though that had he stayed, WB would have had him producing his best. Just a case of bad timing really.

Hmm I can't figure this bench out.. Clearly WB has confidence in our forward strength and stamina to put a centre and utility into the bench rotation.

Could see Copley come in for any back rower, wing or centre. I'm happy to see nikorima back. He's so deadly out of dummy half. Parcell has been outstanding. But we gonna have to choose between them eventually and I'd rather the Nikorima brothers > Parcell.


Just feel like they can step in for 9, 6, 7 position more comfortably.

This game and next should be an 'easier' game for us until we take on the top 8 sides again. Hope we can really step it up a gear and merge into finals footy mode for the last few games of the season.

I would imagine the plan here is to rest Hodges early and slot Copley in when he comes off.
