True, but it wasn't really wide open for him at any time tonight, so he didn't really blow anything like in the past weeks.

before his injury he had hit a real solid patch of form. was very good for a number of weeks in a row. i thought one of the biggest assets of his game was the metres he'd make out of our own end. strong ball runner and would usually put our set on the front foot

Good win although patchy after the first 20. Griffin finally making changes which should have come 8 weeks ago makes him look more inept than I thought, absolutely fucking ridiculous to wait until we need to win every game.
If he sticks with Wal after tonight then he really needs a reality check, the guy killed our momentum form the first time he touched the ball.

At last we played with some intent and took advantage of the space no matter where we were on the field, I will be happy if we build on this style the rest of the year.

Me too. While it's true he did have a shakey start to his NRL career, I thought he was one of the most improved last year and started to really look the goods once he'd gotten rid of his nerves and built up his confidence.

Was tipping him for a big year this one ........:sad:
