I never get that attitude. Just because someone gets injured doesn't make a hit worse. if we start judging suspensions/penalties based on the impact to the victim the game will further go to shit.

Agree with this. He deserved to be on report because his shoulder got Young flush on the face, stretcher or no stretcher.

It was a great shot, as most of them are, but first point of contact was the head.... so that's a no-no.

I think 2 weeks is the right number, but would hate to see him get more than 3. Given the emphasis of no contact to the head I think it's right that he miss game time, but the incident really was quite unlucky. Farrell pulled Young down a millisecond before Inglis made contact and once that happened there was really nothing GI could do. For me, the Issac Luke tackle last week was much worse in terms of the blame you can place on the tackler, so I think it would be wrong if Inglis were to miss more than Luke. Really, if Young weren't stretchered off I think people would be talking about how great a shot it was rather than how many weeks he gets.

Yep 2 is the right suspension. It was careless not reckless or intentional, if Farrell doesn't unexpectantly start dragging him down the point of contact is different. He did however run the risk by going with the shoulder and deserves 1-2 weeks. What happened to Young while concerning should play zero part in him being reported or in how big his suspension is.
