For some hindsight didn't come into it. I've never been impressed we dumped Copley.

Hindsight's a wonderful thing, isn't it?
Did that come out right?
Hope your right Pete. Yeah special shout out to McGuire and Thaiday who we could have done with but their utter I'll discipline left us way short in the forwards. I'd be tempted to give them another week off just to get them to smarten up. Our young fellas did pretty well off the bench and keen to see more minutes from themYou could see tonight's result coming a mile away.
Wasn't through a lack of effort, just too many new faces, battered bodies and egos among the lot.
With Gillett, McGuire and Thaiday due back next week I predict a much better result for the Broncos next week and I wouldn't be surprised if they finish the season with a wet sail.
It won't be enough to win a premiership, but should be enough to put them in good stead for 2017.

Be honest, if Roberts was actually doing something, you probably wouldn't be saying that. You're disappointed that Roberts is proving to be a dud signing.
It's starting to look like we have a couple of duds that are sitting in positions that should be taken by someone else.....
Did Milf and Hunt get tackled with the ball tonight?
After last year I thought we were building a bit of a dynasty for the next few years at least. After this year though, we need a rebuilding phase. Unbelievable.
Copley was doing absolutely nothing at the time.
He had a good run of form in 2014, and wasn't able to back that up and continue on with it.
Even for most of this year, he wasn't that good and had one good game against a Broncos side that are playing like wooden spooners.
At the time, it was the right call for the Broncos. He had been in the NRL for years and barely went anywhere.
The whole club is in trouble. Our past success and legendary players only mask the deep problems we have. Why don't we ever have future origin stars coming though? All our apparent young talent gets let go because they are behind the likes of maranta and Macca. Something really stinks. And it's been rotting away for years. Now the stink lines are seeping out and no one knows what to do.
How?
What's happened behind closed doors??
Bennett pushing Parker out, banning Milford from Samoa, going overseas sojourn mid season.. the cocaine incident. Origin? Injuries? There's no aces left in our hand at all.
Other than pulling a 2006 esque shuffle and throwing Milford to the back, Hunt to the bench hooker, Boyd to six and finding a half that can get a repeat set and play direct behind a ****ing superstar forward pack???
Have we hit rock bottom yet?

I agree with this, some head scratching decisions over the years with regards to who we keep and who we let go. I refuse to believe that Maranta is the best winger we can find?
Good point, still don't like himHe's not? Kahu is our first choice winger if Reed is fit. Maranta is a depth player and he plays exactly like one.
