I still can't figure out how a 3 week ban (which is the result of a discount due to an early guilty plea) ... Can turn into a zero week ban by getting graded 1 level less

They basically have to, that's 1 mill of their cap on the sidelines if he gets suspended at a crucial point in their season.

Wow. Did not think they'd try this. Don't like his chances:

What a joke. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if we hear:

The funny thing is if the judiciary downgrade it to Grade 1, then shouldering someone in the face becomes precedent and never anything more than a fine... as it will have been challenged and accepted by the judiciary.

I don't understand how a player can ride Grade 1 careless tackles indefinitely (3 or subsequent) and never see more than a $3k fine (or 2 week suspension if you're a dumbass). Surely you should be punished If you're consistently "careless". At some point it's not being careless anymore, it's poor technique and you should be forced to go away and work on it.

Is this really JWH's 3rd offense, or 4th? I don't keep track, but it's so fishy and he should be forced to be better.

Hitting him with the upper part of his arm is going to save him. It is not worse than JWHs. That's probably why they are challenging it. That and Campbell lowering slightly and getting back up. I dont understand how you go from 3 weeks to 0 though. It's probably worth 1 week atleast and 2 because of his record.

I have been alive for 30 years and for as long as I can remember we have had the same problems with these muppets being inconsistent week to week. Can never get it 100% right but jesus.

It’s like the Court system - you get a discount for pleading it out early. Saves the time and effort of a hearing, etc.
