Wow. Did not think they'd try this. Don't like his chances:

"If successful at the judiciary on Tuesday night, he’d miss no footy and be available for the XXXX derby against the Broncos and all of the Cowboys’ run home. If unsuccessful, he’d miss four weeks, which would rule him out of the entire regular season given next week’s bye. He would not play again until week one of the finals if the Cowboys make it."

Yea, but like I said earlier, they kind of have to challenge it. No point coming back in the last week if your season is already over by then.

Sivo will **** him I reckon. He failed at the judiciary and the hits are very similar

I went to the game against the Titans. Probably wasn't a great sign in hindsight that a few players were out at the casino the night before the game. They were flat. Looked tired. Linespeed was absolutely horrendous even with a referee that couldn't get back 10m or simply can't judge a distance. Should not be a first grade referee. Overall for both teams the game had head scratchers everywhere. Titans took advantage of it and played well.

I'm hoping they just thought they had to turn up to win and attitude was the problem. No excuse for that this week. Playing an overall better side than us currently. Shouldn't be taking them lightly. If we have a similar effort will be lapped. Don't think that will be the case. Taumalolo and Cotter finally starting together. Neame and Luki back. Should be a good game.

Golden Point victory for the good guys 😉

Hitting him with the upper part of his arm is going to save him. It is not worse than JWHs. That's probably why they are challenging it. That and Campbell lowering slightly and getting back up. I dont understand how you go from 3 weeks to 0 though. It's probably worth 1 week atleast and 2 because of his record.

I have been alive for 30 years and for as long as I can remember we have had the same problems with these muppets being inconsistent week to week. Can never get it 100% right but jesus.

This is the thing that ticks me off. The Holmes one is similar to Arthars one, probably slightly worse but Arthars gets 1 week, Holmes gets 3.

Meanwhile, the FAR worse of the lot is JWH who has a LONG record of head shots...and he just gets a fine. Stupid system.

I have heard people on talk back say that the JWH wasn't bad at all. I have no idea what to think.

Jordan Riki's name on the extended bench is a good sign. His earliest expected return was Round 24. Same with Oates.

I'm more irked by the inconsistent sinbinning this season. I have reasonable faith in charges set by the MRC nerds. I know they understand the intricacies of the game better than me.

On some parts of the internet...that's considered trolling. 😉

This. How he and NAS seem to never be brought up when it comes to things like raised bumpers, knees and just high shots in general is amazing. Even if they're erring on the side of tall player V shorter player, how many high shots does it take before a player cops a suspension instead of a fine? JWH or NAS, I can't remember which, is on his 3rd or 4th fine....fucking sit them down.

7.45pm: O’Toole said Holmes does not wish to give evidence in his defense but will make submissions about the video. Justice Bellew warned that if those submissions verged on evidence then Holmes could be cross-examined by NRL
legal counsel Lachlan Gyles SC.

7.40pm: The hearing began with Holmes' legal representative Bill O’Toole seeking to have a memo from NRL head of football Graham Annesley entitled ‘Player safety update high tackles and shoulder charges’ removed from evidence.

"The memo is not addressed by my client and my client had not seen this memo until today," O'Toole said.
