Parker wasn't great, Wallace wasn't great. Up and down from a few others, but solid from Milf and Hunt, huge step forward.

Is Milf back? I don't think he ever left. He's been trying that footwork and those moves every game. What's different is the opposition, more importantly the opposition's forward pack and the state that they're in. When our pack does it's job, the opposition is rattled, make mistakes, and fatigued. That's when Milf's Magic works.

Milf isn't back, but maybe our pack is.

Not convinced honestly.

We were pure gold in patches, but quite shaky in defence at times, and particularly flat to begin with.

Against a top flight time we could well have been down 18 nil early, and never had the momentum to go on that hit streak.

I am very happy with some individual performances. Milf sparked it, Hunt ran with it and brought his good boots tonight. Some really good kicks. Macca backed them up well and Pearson had a great debut.

I don't think we're back by any stretch but I'm feeling happy after tonight's effort for once. That'll do me.
