Why do they even call him King Gutherson anyway? Like what does that even mean? Was there some famous King called Gutherson in history somewhere?

It started a couple of years ago when he shifted from wing to the 6 because they had no one else and absolutely crushed it for about 4 to 5 weeks.
He literally couldn't do a thing wrong . I think it was Fatty who compared him to Wally and it stuck.

what makes it stupider is the fact that the Panthers didn't sack Hook because they thought Cleary was a better coach ... they did it to ensure they kept a player, who is looking more over-rated by the day

Never rated Griffin with us but I thought he was doing a very decent job with Penrith. IMO they looked like actual contenders under him. Since they sacked him and Gould to sign daddy to keep the halfback they've been pretenders.

Sure it's not his squad but there was absolutely no valid reason to sack Griffin.
