But his first half was terrible. He hasn't done enough to keep ofa out, he isn't the player he was at the start of the yearHerman's second half stint was great.

I was hoping they would come out firing in the 2nd half but they seemed to have kept their powder dry.
It definitely looked like they tried to wear the dragons down with constantly moving the ball and 2nd phase play. It didn't work though as their forwards failed to put the dragons on the back foot. The dragons for their part were polar opposites. Constantly making metres but failing to capitalise on them. The broncos capitalised on the chances they got and showed some great goal line defence to win it.
Milford and hunt were both great, as was Glenn. Our forwards for the most part though were dissapointing.
Especially when the Lafai try was an exact carbon copy. Those 2 "tackled in the air" penalties were insane. You see that in literally every game every week.
44% posession, half as much territory as the Saints, a 8-2 penalty count against and yet the Broncos never looked like losing tonight. It wasn't pretty by any means but good teams win games even when they aren't at their best. Broncos are looking in great shape for a tilt at the crown.
