Round 26 Broncos vs Storm - Pre Game Discussion

One thing I noticed when Storm went up against Panthers, Koroibete constantly rushed up off his wing.

Panthers would have had a couple of tries in the corner if the final passes weren't so terrible. I am hoping Hodges takes advantage of that next week.

If Broncos attack like they did last night, they could win it.

But that middle defense needs to improve.

Let's just hope the Roosters run riot tonight and Smith re-injures his ankle, Cronk breaks his arm again and Slater tears every single ligament in his knee.

Yeah, as much as I love Hodges at fullback, I think we'd be better of having Maranta at fullback in defence. Best of both worlds really.

If Melbourne win this week, than we beat them next we will probably be playing them in the QF again :)

why oh why does it have to come down to beating the storm in rnd 26.

what will billy get away with this time against us?

Now there's even more to play for now, gone from slim chance of making it based on results to being able to determine our own chances of doing so, time for Griffin and the side to knuckle down.

Come on guys give em hell on Friday and ruin Bellamy's and everyone related to the Storm's day on Friday night. We are the Broncos we can do it.

Better start praying for us to make the finals, every time I pray for a team to win they do it (Last Ashes series and the Blues this year) I've got luck so far.

Time to get down to work .... destiny is now in our own hands.

and if we beat the Storm on Friday and qualify for the finals ... we'll have a few teams watching over their shoulders nrevously at us

Beating a full strength side > beating weakened side.

We won't be pushovers if we just treat it as another game, Storm aren't as fearsome as they used to be.

They are still a very good team but they are on the decline. Once the Big 3 and Bellamy retire there is every chance they will slip down the table. Without Smith, Slater and Cronk the Storm are not even close to the same thing.
