he looks way off the pace so far this season. he had one decent half in the trial game and thats it.
Not sure if its injury or what. but even when he was in clear space he looked seriously ordinary and slow.

Makes you wonder if hes taking shortcuts at training or is his body just not ready for nrl.
Would not be surprised if kevie drops him next game and I think he should, just to regain some fitness and confidence.

Staggs also needs to be dropped but I really dont think kevie can. I dont feel hes a player that would respond well to that and the media will have a field day heaping even more pressure on the whole team for the week.

I always thought he was great, pretty much until Kevvie arrived, and then I don't know what the **** happened. He's clearly finding himself now.

We just didn't have the time to wait before he developed. I can see why they went for Reynolds and let him go.

Cows were just too good. We still struggle when calls go against us. Saying that that is probably the best the Cows have played in a few years. Our defence was slow off the mark today and we need to work on this.

Staggs had an absolute howler and hopefully that is Reynolds bad kicking game over for the year. Just too many mistakes which the Cows were good enough to capitalise on.

We need to try starting a game with Walters at hooker as Turpins service from dummy half is far too slow and he point blank refuses to run. We tried attacking them continually back through the middle which failed as the Cows defence kept turning up but also to do this you need quick clean passes from dummy half not the slow, clunky service that Turpin gives.

I'd say its more he isnt ready for regular football rather than him not being good enough. They probably think they need to play him to get him to sign.

Selwyn's notional value has plummeted the last few weeks. I'd be forgetting about an extension for quite a few months if I were him. He needs to notch up some wins.

I wouldn't be changing much, we just didn't run with any intent today. The only thing that would've possibly won us the game is starting Walters and having Paix come off the bench. Turps is a real issue for our attack and go-forward. I have a feeling he will get the boot in the first half of the season.

I think Reynolds was decent. he had some shit kicks but he also was the reason we even got on the board. definitely not up to his standards though

but IF this is the worse game he ever plays for us I will be a happy fan.

The attitude of this team still sucks. Capewell and reynolds so far are not enough.

Kevie really needs to work out how floggings like this keep happening. We can cop loses but a scoreline like this should not of ever happened, add to that it happened in the qld derbie match at suncorp which is the one game you expect the boys to fire up win or lose.

Its efforts like this that turn fans away and make them think why bother showing up to the game or tuning in if that's what they are going to dish up.

Bottom line is What happened today was just not acceptable. I really dont think enough of these players care that much about the jersey they just like the fame that goes with it

I know its only round 3 but seeing this attitude has me so worried for this season. I could easily see us winning the spoon again.

Still think we need some mass player signings in the off season. I would get Rid of a few of these "ATHELETES" and get some cheap actual football players with smarts and heart.

Yes some of them can make a highlight but not do the basics.

I think any fan with a sense of realism would've understood we were never going to win a stretch of games to kick off the season without copping an ugly loss. this isn't a shock loss as far as I am concerned but rather a part of the development of the team.

The key will be how they play against the Warriors, if it's another ordinary display, that would be very concerning.

Selwyn was even worse in his one trial there. I think he needs to go back the QCup for a stint.

Maybe it's time to experiment with switching Herbie and Tesi. Remember Herbie was penciled to replace Jamayne but injury gave Tesi his break. Otherwise it's Mead.

No idea what to do with Kotoni. His confidence looks shot.

am a devote tesi fan but i think he could do with some time in cup , link up with Mam and paix (if he isn't in first grade). think we should bring in Pereira and lee and put Herbie at the back.

What was going on with Cobbo at the start of the match, he was slow and had absolutely no kick chase at all. Did he need Staggs to lead the way?
Those two need to sit down and watch some Hodges/YowYeh hi lights. About the difference a killer combo makes to the game.

that said, I definitely think Cobbo is a centre, he will probably be like Mick Devere or a faster Jack Reed when he gets some man strength about him. He’s never gonna be a GI or Latrell.

I hope they have signed Reece Walsh, and that’s why they let Isaako go, cos Tesi ain’t it.

And lastly, ARey gets let off the hook today because the service from dummy half was horrendous. We need to do something about Turpin.

I agree Cobbo looks more like a centre than a winger.

Kelly was invisible today as well, he has been key to our wins and he went missing.

good point this. the energy and running game really rubbed off on the players in the first 2 weeks. He seemed to bring the enthusiasm.

hope it was just an off day for him like the rest. I love gamble but we really cant be swapping our halves every game we need consistency so we really need kelly to perform better then that

Walters at 9 for me. Carrigan is the new McGuire killing the attack late in the set. Needs to be a prop and not touch after 3rd tackle.

Staggs needs to be dropped. 3 bad games in a row and all because of dumb errors that can't be accepted. Niu needs time in Q Cup too.

Had the same thoughts on Carrigan taking “settlers” on fourth in good position. Couple that with Turpin lofting a lollipop to the half on the last and our attack ain’t shit.

Thats the thing. We are talking about extending Walters as well and i just dont get why.

One thing I will say is that the Cows were absolutely phenomenal today... they completed at 90% and had linespeed and intensity for the full 80mins.

They destroyed us in all the effort areas, especially kick chase.

They aren't losing many games if they play like that every week... they certainly don't look like a team that will beat themselves
