Said it in the live thread, but the extension needs to be taken off the table. There is no way in hell he deserves an extension, if he wasn't hyped up, I'd be calling him another no name dud.

Physically weak and the few times I've seen him in open space he looks slower than 2022 Oates.

He's certainly been ridiculously overhyped, but that's not his fault. He's a pretty quiet humble kid. It's everyone else calling him the next GI or Latrell. I'm sure he's flattered but I get the sense he's also embarrassed by it.

He looks slow, error prone and completely inexperienced in the basics (like not getting pushed ten yards backwards). I'm not sure he's even up to hiding on the wing right now.

Lay the boot to some like staggs whose displays have been unprofessional over all three matches while on big money.

Support Niu by putting him in Q Cup to learn his trade. He is not an NRL fullback yet based on his two matches.

Turpin to play much less minutes but hold a place in the team.

The others that were bad should get another shot.

HE should do that with Tesi. He has never really dominated as a fullback in QCup. Its no guarantee either they will do well, i can think of a fair few fullbacks who excelled in Qcup and still didnt make the step up ( Walker, Isaako, Anderson and Gebbe sping to mind ) but at least he would learn the role better.

am a devote tesi fan but i think he could do with some time in cup , link up with Mam and paix (if he isn't in first grade). think we should bring in Pereira and lee and put Herbie at the back.

Yep. I'm on board. Build a combo at the Magpies, then haul it back if it works out. Lee and Pereira are solid, and, **** it, Herbie could play his solo game at the back and he'd still bring more than Tesi.

He's never a first grade hooker imo. He did ok in the first game, i think he has been pretty anonymous in the last 2. You can get away with honest triers in say the centers or a prop or back rower, i dont think you can in the spine.

i think he needs a break. he just looks physically worn out and its only game 3.

Broncs needs to do right thing by him and not play him for a couple of games. as long as our coaching staff can communicate to him and tell him its for his own good it shouldnt stop him from resigning.

and if it does so be it just means he wasnt the right fit for this club at this time anyway.

History has proven that they won't play that way every week. They seem to go through an unbeatable period every year only to finish in the bottom four.

In 177min of football Turpin has had 6 runs for a total of 46metres.

A hooker has to be able to play both sides of the football, that is simply not up to standard.

What i would say is Lee and Periera looked like they had a bit of chemistry in the trials. Surely now is the time after 3 poor efforts by our right side to give players that did well in the trials a run. We cant keep rewarding poor performances with spots in the team.

It would be a massive call to drop Staggs from the team.

Completely warranted, but the scrutiny and eyeballs focussed on Red Hill for the full week would be insane

I think we was good at tigers and can pay 9. He can't play 80 but could play more minutes than Turpin in the rotation.
