Wonder if we can offer Staggs to the Dolphins at full freight and re-sign Herbie
With Cobbo I think Kevvie can justify sending him back to ISC for a couple weeks... you can sell it that we bought depth this year knowing we had young guys in the squad and we didn't want to burn them out early.I wonder if Cobbs is experiencing a double whammy of post-Covid effects and second year syndrome.

Yes indeed. He may have a great step and evasiveness, but he is not smart enough yet (he's not alone in this team. eg. love Cobbo, but not there yet clearly). For example Nui, - hit the F'ing ground when getting out of your own ingoal, instead of standing tall and getting smashed and dragged back into it, Isaako style. Yeah sure, Nui even has a try assist or two in him, but at this stage, the broncs need a capable fullback. Not just one with good potential.I wasn’t sold on Niu since his first game and nothing he’s done since then has changed my view. We’ve had some dumb footballers in recent times but he really takes top spot in that department.
Probably more suggesting that they beat a lot of teams with the way they turned up this week... whether they can keep doing it is another questionHistory has proven that they won't play that way every week. They seem to go through an unbeatable period every year only to finish in the bottom four.
They wont be able to afford him when they get Grant, Munster, JT13, Haas and Walker.
Haas is staying. Kevvie is offering him five-eighth.I know you love the Dolphins mate but Haas is going to the Roosters, everyone knows that.
I don’t even think Niu has that good of a step or is that evasive. I can only think of very few occasions when he beat defenders. At least Isaako had thatYes indeed. But do we move our best back at the moment - Herbie - to fullback? I reckon he would make a real fist of it. Then bring Brenko in at centre. Staggs? F me, what happened to him? Always been sus at defence, but FMD, I was not expecting that poor performance. Please, Perrera in for Cobbo next round too.
Hass, Herbie, and Carrigan were our standouts (did I miss someone?). Carrigan - I don't love him at lock (at present), but mark these words: he is a future Queensland captain. Even Australian captain, and his rougher partner in crime that will join him on the journey to Queensland/Australian stardom will be the Flegler.
Very interested indeed as to what the team list for the warriors game will be...
Flegs back. Who do you drop? James? More Jensen for me, please.
Turps was a fav of mine two (?) seasons back. When we didn't have any halfbacks and he stood in there. What happened? Love him, but struth, please bring on Walters earlier/or replace turps. We really need more than just a tacklebot.
If you want to pinpoint exactly what Turps is lacking, watch Granville.Turps was a fav of mine two (?) seasons back. When we didn't have any halfbacks and he stood in there. What happened? Kevvie doesn’t exactly exude confidence. This is textbook 101 for those with no patience.

Put him at fullback, wouldn't crumble under the bomb, would make it out of ingoal and make better kick returns.Haas is staying. Kevvie is offering him five-eighth.

You're underselling Tesi.I don’t even think Niu has that good of a step or is that evasive. I can only think of very few occasions when he beat defenders. At least Isaako had that
He doesn’t even try deception. Just faces exactly where he’s going to pass then slowly shovels it over.If you want to pinpoint exactly what Turps is lacking, watch Granville.
If I haven’t accepted your amount of tries as the key measurement yet, why do you think I would now? You're underselling Tesi.
He scored 8 tries from 16 games last year.
Jamayne scored 6 from 18.
David Mead scored 5 from 12.
Herbie scored 3 fom 20.
