Sounding like a big possibility that Kahu may miss this one with that corked hip, didn't train today. Mead trained on the wing outside Roberts and Milford put in extras after training on his goal kicking.
Oh great, the refs can now fabricate a Slater comeback story. It's good for the game after all.
Any word on TPJ? If he is unfit, who do you think will replace him?Sounding like a big possibility that Kahu may miss this one with that corked hip, didn't train today. Mead trained on the wing outside Roberts and Milford put in extras after training on his goal kicking.
Get on him for a hat trick IMO.
* Thaiday gets held in the scrum, leaving a gaping hole in the defence. Three times. Slater scores every time.

Clearly it's been a while since you've seen slater play.. he almost always passes to his wingers.I'm not going to lie here, I would be extremely disappointed if we don't target Slater if he is back this game. Bomb him and isolate him so he has to make the hitups.
I see the storm forward pack as a little light on given they are missing both starting second rowers from last year and Bromwich their number one prop and arguably the best in the game
Obviously we won't know till tomorrow, but I was under the impression that Bromwich's injury wasn't as bad as first though, meaning one missed game and back this week. Which would be typical.
I heard 2-4 week injury too.Storm said he was sitting out 2 weeks minimum.

and with the wingers they've got nowadays!!!! Maydayy
Always a tough match up for us. Having J Brom out will even things out a bit.
Storm have got off to a cracking start so far, as they tend to do.
Hoping we can play smart like last time, but wouldn't be surprised if we just try and roll them through the middle. No Big Brom, Grug or Tofu Carrots means they've got less punch while we've fortified in that regard.
Truth be told, I'm less worried about Slater returning than I am about Munster at 6. Has the size and fend to do a job on Milf (ala Morgan).
