I'm not going to lie here, I would be extremely disappointed if we don't target Slater if he is back this game. Bomb him and isolate him so he has to make the hitups.

Clearly it's been a while since you've seen slater play.. he almost always passes to his wingers.

I've got this one penciled in as one we should win, obviously we don't see the teams until tomorrow though. I just think we handled the cowboys forward pack pretty well last week which contains the likes of Scott, taumalolo and young Hess. I see the storm forward pack as a little light on given they are missing both starting second rowers from last year and Bromwich their number one prop and arguably the best in the game. If we play smart I think we can limit the storm go forward and limit the attacking chances of Cronk, smith and Munster and get outselves some good field position if our forwards perform like last week.

Patience will be a huge factor given how clinical Melbourne are there generally aren't many holes in their defence so calculated risks (smart offloads and early kicks) could be very important too.

Obviously we won't know till tomorrow, but I was under the impression that Bromwich's injury wasn't as bad as first though, meaning one missed game and back this week. Which would be typical.

Storm have got off to a cracking start so far, as they tend to do.

Hoping we can play smart like last time, but wouldn't be surprised if we just try and roll them through the middle. No Big Brom, Grug or Tofu Carrots means they've got less punch while we've fortified in that regard.

Truth be told, I'm less worried about Slater returning than I am about Munster at 6. Has the size and fend to do a job on Milf (ala Morgan).
