PRE-GAME [Round 4, 2025] Broncos vs Dolphins

My concern here is that the Dolphins lost. They will be desperate for a win here unfortunately.

So far we got everyones best game of the season apart from the Roosters. Expecting this trend to continue. Lucky for us, our best can beat anyone in the comp.

Yeah like I mentioned in another thread. Everyone takes us more seriously/has a much higher level of intensity when the play us for whatever reason. Raiders looked liked a different team against manly compared to the week prior. Mysteriously lost their line speed xD

I have no doubt phins will play like world beaters too despite looking like complete and utter garbage.

I'm actually in the shibasaki camp at the moment. His work rucking it out of our own end is way better than what Mariners 20 metre sideways runs produce and he is the better defender too. Maguire must really think the outside backs need help getting it out of our own end and be willing to sacrifice that over an attacking oriented player in Mariner. It was a massive query I had on the team this year and Maguire must have felt the same way with putting him in there and putting Cobbo back to the wing to do the heavy rucking because lets face it, Walsh isnt running for 250 metres a game like Teddy or Edwards do every game so the outside backs need to step up to fill the void.

If Shiba can stop his bad timing with defensive rushing he has been basically perfect for what a player like him can provide.

We should note as well, since the season has started we haven't picked up a single injury yet, sure it's still only going into Round 4 but you can see it's already making some headaches on players who could certainly play atm but can't because there is a clean bill of health atm.

I don't count Staggs because that happened in the pre season.

Right side player for right side player I think is part of it .
Other wise it`s a bigger change to the defensive system . Moving Mariner to the other side .
Also Shiba`s return metres .
