I've watched the first 20. Turps and Niu have been excellent, pretty much everyone has been and goodness me, are Cobbo and Staggs the same players as last week??
Second one was the worst. Huge miss by Kobe and just soft from Herbie and Capewell. The two soft crash over plays by Manu were soo frustrating when they had been defending well. It just shouldn’t happen at this level, but to happen twice…

Oatsey was brilliant tonight, but this is still him.

It's not about not having Kobe in the 13 jersey it's about how best to get him through 80mins effectively. We are a much better team with Kobe starting at lock, he’s now had 10 games there for 4 wins and a positive f/a of +1. A 40% win rate doesn’t sound good in isolation, but we have won only 9 of our last 29 games.
First half good.
second half bad.
Oates running backwards is picture 1. Oates running forward is picture 2.
Kev’s best bench usage in a fair while. Keep playing like that and we’ll win more than we lose.
You’re right, it’s a loss where we can say they had a real dig and were competitive. But it’s just the same little errors all the time that just won’t seem to go away.I wouldn't say bad ... but we let them back into it with a couple of soft tries.
On the plus side, we kept fighting almost snatching it at the death
And TC got what, 10mins at best? What a shame about those minutes for James tho.
Jensen was good off the bench too.
sounds exactly like something Lockyer would say. bloke cares more about his media job then football job with broncos and it sucks.Thing i didnt like from Locky after the game was him basically telling the rest of the comp how to shut down Kotoni. He basically said he was a one trick pony and just jamming up on him shuts him down, he needs to add more to his game and being passive in defence like the Rorters plays into his hands. Its probably true, but you dont want a club legend and current board member saying that in public imo.
