* It'll most likely be Kahu but I don't recall him playing too much wing and I'd much rather play a natural in the position. That position doesn't get enough respect these days.

** Can't see any unforced changes from happening but it's clear Prince just isn't clicking with the side and is a liability. Great goal kicker and perhaps he'd gel better with a guy like Hunt but I can only base it on from what I've seen and Prince is just a bit off. Could go either way, but it's just difficult to justify.

These are fair comments and you have put together a good team. I also would expect Kahu to be selected

Great to see Kahu get through the game......I thought he stated to gain some confidence towards the later stages of the 2nd half after a somewhat shaky start. Maybe start Reed on the wing and leave Kahu there to partner Hodges.

How long are Dodds and McGuire out for....?

I have been saying Wallace needs to go but he was the best half out there tonight by a long way so how do you justify dropping him this week. Last week yes but impossible this week. Prince was awful second week in a row

Well hes not at halfback is he, you know those big numbers on their backs? and I haven't suggested he has been hopeless in only the 4 games he has played at a new club, he has been average but being able to kick goals hasn't hurt. An average but strong goal kicker at 5/8 and Hunt in the 17 is preferable at this early stage of the season than Hunt at 5/8 and an average goal kicker. Had Parker been kicking tonight I doubt we would ever had gotten close to Melbourne let alone lead at one stage.

At this stage, I'd prefer him over Prince. Although, I do see Prince as the bigger talent. Just goes to show, talent doesn't mean everything.

You are being to diplomatic BP. The BS he is speaking tonight should be kept for Wallace's next bad game and then I would have a little respect for his comments
 
I didn't necessarily think Wallace was all that good tonight...so I'm okay with his comments.

Neither half is doing a whole lot for me truthfully. I just went with Wallace because I believe his form has been better than Prince's. He can also goal kick reasonably well too.

Unfortunately I disagree tonight. If not for Wallace's organization of the attack at times tonight we would have perhaps scored one try.
I am still not convinced by him either but am prepared to concede he played well tonight.
My comments at the start of the season were if Prince played like he has done for the last 18 months we will struggle, at this stage he is not improving. Bring in Hunt to half and Wallace to 5/8

The only reason I want to see Wallace shifted to hooker, is because I want to see how Hunt performs in the 7, as he seems to have a bit of creativity and unpredictability about him, but mainly because I want Macca out of there. He is too slow in pretty much everything he does at the moment, and really stifles the halves, especially Prince who needs more space for his game.
Anyone bagging Wallace at the moment is just pushing his agenda, as he has been by far the best of the halves this season, and doesn't deserve half the crap he gets on this forum.

Norman has to stay at FB, at least until we get Dugan (hurry up Gee).
As much as I like Hoffman, he's not a fullback, but he's a fantastic winger/centre, and should definitely stay there long term.
Reed played his best game by far this season, and has justified Hook's faith, but while solid at the back, Maranta has no spark whatsoever about him. He should have scored a try in the play immediately before Hoffman's first try. Hoffman would've got it, Yow Yeh would've got it, hell, half of the comp's wingers would have gotten it! When Hodgo comes back, I'd like to see Kahu in there...

As for the forward pack, I won't ask for more than what they showed tonight. That was awesome stuff from Thaiday and co.

You do it out of spite and pettyness. In fact, you've been back 5 minutes in this forum and you already have given more dislikes than anyone else!
 
Any possibility of Kahu as a long term fullback. Juniors at fullback but could not dislodge Gagai in the 20's
