Three weeks? that's pretty specific.
Definitely indicative that we've got a clear path of progression planned out for him, alternating from intensity/experience of first grade with playing bigger minutes in NYC. Lets him develop ask aspects of his game without burning him out.
I hate Thaiday at prop ... Is our forward depth really so bad that we have to play Thaiday at a position he has always sucked at.
IMO, we would have been better of playing Parker at prop. He doesn't play any different any way. Thaiday could then start at lock.
Not arguing the logic of your arguement but the way I see it, it's Wayne putting Sam to the test.
Parker is assured of his role in the team by virtue of his consistency, irrespective of the number on his back. Thaiday still has something to prove in terms of both quality and consistency. If he's genuine, he'll rise to the occasion, as he seems to have done from the bench.
