I don't have anything against Tedesco and could live with his selection in the Test team, but there was no need for Voss to tear down another player and coach like that, especially when it wasn't a match-winning play (remind me, did Tedesco even win?).

Besides, Bennett said that Boyd should be the QLD fullback... And last time i checked Tedesco plays for NSW.

I would be over the moon with Tedesco at fb for the blues. He's got a brain explosion in him, isn't as safe as Dugan in d/ off the ball, is injury prone, and doesn't like to pass (like Dugan). Plus, with him at fb, it means Dugan will be at centre at the expense of a quality centre (Jennings, Morris, Roberts, Ferguson).

Edit: rep footy is more than just attacking flair at nrl level, it's why barba never forced his way into the qld or Aus side, and why Bowen played virtually no games.

tedesco is the best form fullback in the comp at the moment. what brain explosions are you talking about? as for no defense rewind a week to the eels game.
i hope nsw dont pick him and go with a slug with no ball skill like dugan. year after year nsw has gone with the mongo morros brothers, dugan and jennings and guess what same old result.
tedesco and roberts should be picked. new blood with no deadwodd.

Poor-man's Hayne for sure, but similar player. Tedesco is fleeter of foot and a bit more elisive, but Dugan is more powerful. The gaps are much smaller in Origin and there aren't as many weak points across the park as you get with a club team with a salary cap. I feel Tedesco will be pretty well covered in Origin.

Tedesco isn't a weakling, so whatever power Dugan has is small potatos compared to the skill-set and speed of Tedesco.
