Yeah I was more talking about the Oates coming in bit

also we now don’t have 2 million dollars worth of players on our bench. People really don’t talk about it much but that really hurts us. To have more cap for our starters we need to find our 5 starting forwards and go cheapies that get the job done on the bench.
i actually hope oatesy comes in and rips in coz at his best hes won of the best wingers in the comp

Thursday night will be the first overnight stay for Penrith since round 23, 2019. Let that sink in.

Imagine having a full season sleeping in your own bed before every game and learning combinations in the comfort of your own backyard.

Is he worth 500k at his best? Because that’s what his player option for next year is. I like Corey but we need him off the books.

And just to further the obvious bias... 360 are here talking about whether Frizzel should've been sin binned following a high shot to allow the 18th man to come in.

Absolute crickets about Kiks taking CNK's head off, sending him for a HIA and now CNK is out for 2 months with a bulging disc in his neck.

So apparently NSWRL are ok with that nowadays... well ok if you're a golden child
💯 mate, like I mentioned in another thread sometimes I feel like I'm in the Twilight zone watching the sport ATM.

Yes... I couldn’t care less if he took up his option of 500k him and Coates as wingers revolutionises our backline... you chuck Herbie back in the centre’s and with whoever the other one is (Niu if he spends the rest of the season in q-cup) and hopefully Hynes at fullback it’s looking better already

Jesse Arthars has been told to stay home due to illness. will be given until game day to prove he has recovered. If he is ruled out Oates will play left wing with Mead shifting to center

I think Oates should be on the wing regardless.

Mead tries hard, but he just doesn’t have the same impact Oates has when it comes to returning the ball. Plus Oates is a far better finisher.

He shit the bed last year, but I feel like Oates falling down the pecking order would make him pull his head out and we’ll see better performances from him.

They only travelled out of NSW 3 times last year (Tits rd 11, us rd 17 and Cows rd 19).

This year they only travel outside of NSW 4 times (us, titans, storm, warriors).

I'm assuming it's relatively the same for all Shitney teams, but the FIFO shit last year meant it was a huge advantage to Sydney teams.

I'm not sure if everything has reset now that Australia has covid under a bit of control or if there are still covid bubble restrictions on away teams.... I believe FIFO is gone, but I think teams had more flexibility about when they flew in, and I'm guessing there may be restrictions on being in groups, going out in public, team staff that can attend (can Petero travel with the team?), etc. I'm not sure if all of that has now been lifted or not

I think these things would have big impacts on a player's preparation for a game and is probably fucking with the heads of our extremely young squad especially given we have minimal experienced heads across the whole group

We just injected a million into the ISC in just one player.

He has been crippled by having to play the roles of two people for the past three years and the pressure that’s mounted by our team being driven into the dirt by inept coaching and management
Or he's the one constant in the Broncos demise.

Oates could dominate Staines, if he's in the mood. Staines is only a small bugger

“Jesse is a bit crook today so we’ll see how he pulls up tomorrow and make a final decision tomorrow afternoon. If Jesse is no good then Oatsey will play and we will reshuffle the backline around that. Oatsey has gone back to Intrust Super Cup to work on a few things and now he will get his opportunity … he’s an NRL player and his reaction to that has been good, an he’s back out there today. He’s a big unit and at his best, he is one of the best wingers in the game. If he does play tomorrow tight hen he is a good fella to bring back into the side.”

Interchange forward Tom Flegler also missed training feeling unwell but is expected to take his place in the Broncos 17 for tomorrow night.

Mead has been Solid it's hard to justify dropping him for 'ol Butterfingers.
