Surely Luke will start at 9. If signed.
Wouldn’t be surprised if Paix is pretty sore after two full games at hooker as well.

That‘s for a much better experience balance, aside from the backline but let’s be honest here, Boyd’s experience means zero when he is playing like a 50 year-old.
I’d be firing a rocket up both Milf and Croft too, saying see that blond-haired kid over there, you both pull out another mixed bag like last week and he’s got your spot next week, Milf I’m looking at you especially. If you don’t scream for the ball throughout the match, you are our next week. Show some leadership, spark, ANYTHINGto show you still have some sort of potential match-winning ability in you more than once a year.
Not sure I missed it but I'm hoping Catrigan starts to ball play alot more. Like Radley, Trob and Murray. All run with two hands and keeps the defence guessing. All I see is hit ups with him and it kills the play or easy to contain.
for this to work Patty needs support runner....we dont do that.....therefore running the ball in 2 hands compromises his ball security...
Frankly, I have no idea why Isaako isnt that support runner at least 2 times a set. He is no ball playing fullback so what exactly does he ever add when we are rucking the ball up?
Get him trailing TPJ & Haas, get that offload and then advance the footy another 10-15 meters. He is big enough, good footwork, he "could" cause havoc around the ruck on 2nd phase plays...
And then I remember who coaches this team.....
We have to give TPJ time folks; yes its great he is back but he surely cant be asked to do a 80 minute stint. Give him a month like Lodge to get his match fitness up and if he can last that long without getting suspended then we judge...

According to Brent Read, Oates will likely be on the bench moving forward.

I can't see the point of signing Luke if he won't feature as a regular in the starting 17
He will be the lowest paid player in the top 30, so I don't see why it's a concern whether he plays or not.
My concern is that if Luke plays to form, he is a must have in this side
I can't see the point of signing Luke if he won't feature as a regular in the starting 17
14. Luke
15. Oates
16. Pangai Jr
17. Offa or Kennedy depending on form
I can't see the point of T'eo, TPJ and Oates - 3 backrowers on the bench
Late edit : In fact, when I think about it, what happens to Flegler who should be there for the prop rotation, which means Oates misses out unless he's put back on the wing or we expect Turps to play 80 which is for mine a bad thing at this point. I don't think he has it in him.
Someone has to miss out I guess
I think Flegler might out of favor with the coach at the moment. Benched this weekend and looking like being pushed out by Luke.
He has been trying hard, but making a LOT of mistakes if you watched closely. We all rightly bagged Hopoate for his innumerable mistakes, but Flegler hasn’t been much better in the unforced error department.
It astounds me, and is another confirmation of what a poor judge Walter's is, that flegler made the prigin camp ahead of carrigan. I definitely rate flegler and think he should have made the camp, but not in place of carrigan. Flegler may be a hot head but carrigan is a 1% specialist ALREADY, he is made for origin I believeHe also had a lot of lazy efforts on Thursday night straight after the half, he wasn’t willing to do the 1 percent plays.
