It astounds me, and is another confirmation of what a poor judge Walter's is, that flegler made the prigin camp ahead of carrigan. I definitely rate flegler and think he should have made the camp, but not in place of carrigan. Flegler may be a hot head but carrigan is a 1% specialist ALREADY, he is made for origin I believe
I know Hodges has huge wraps on flegler, so maybe that's the reason.

Walters just looks to be a pleaser... doesn't seem to have a bad word to say against anyone.

Makes him a great bloke, but is he the kind of coach that will instill some discipline in the playing group

I know seibold is having a shocker this year but Walter's was the next choice and does anyone seriously think we'd be in a better position with him. All speculation of course but we may have not had the shocking blowouts but we also probably wouldn't have had players like staggs, turpin, dearden, Coates and Farnsworth get the opportunities they have got. I also don't think carrigan and flegler would have been given so many games. They have been given too much responsibility but when you're left with Boyd, McCullough and milford as the main part of your leadership group we needed to take the gamble and hopefully it pays off..
We would be even further away in a lot of ways.

Well I don’t need an excuse but here is another team list:

1. Isaako
2. Coates
3. Staggs
4. Niu
5. Farnworth
6. Milford
7. Croft
8. Lodge
9. Luke
10. Haas
11. Glenn
12. Oates
13. Carrigan

14. Paix
15. Kennedy
16. TPJ
17. Teo

That‘s for a much better experience balance, aside from the backline but let’s be honest here, Boyd’s experience means zero when he is playing like a 50 year-old.

I’d be firing a rocket up both Milf and Croft too, saying see that blond-haired kid over there, you both pull out another mixed bag like last week and he’s got your spot next week, Milf I’m looking at you especially. If you don’t scream for the ball throughout the match, you are our next week. Show some leadership, spark, ANYTHINGto show you still have some sort of potential match-winning ability in you more than once a year.

Paix has a hand/thumb injury.

I like the sound of this. I think we are better served with Oates and TPJ starting on the edges until Fifita comes back.

Probably just easing Glenn into it for a week and giving Oates another shot. I don't think Oates was particularly good against Manly. There's definitely a scenario where he's not even in our best 17 once Fifita gets back.

When did that happen?

No idea bruv, was just reported.

Sounds like a 1-2 month injury for Staggs, pulled up at top speed and had to be helped from the field, usually lends itself to a grade 2-3 hammy.

Even though Glenn trained at centre, I'd expect us to revert Oates back to the wing.

1. Isaako
2. Oates
3. Boyd
4. Farnworth
5. Coates
6. Milford
7. Hunt
8. Lodge
9. Luke
10. Haas
11. Glenn (c)
12. Pangai Jr
13. Carrigan

14. Paix
15. Te'o
16. Flegler
17. Ofahengaue

I think he has even bigger wraps on Patty tbh. He made him captain of the QLD u20's, and he didnt go into the camp as captain.

Cuntox. Will Niu get a run?

We are going to need another center on the cheap i think now.

I hope to **** he doesn't put Glenn in the centres again. Might as well give the kid Niu a run.

I think Luke took our last spot so there is no room unless we punt someone.
But that "someone" is also a centre.
