I like that team, Rally. Good stuff.
I like that team Rally, but i would certainly start McGuire
How does playing shit from the bench get you a spot in the starting lineup though? That is exactly the opposite of how all adult sports are played.
alright, lets focus on Strasser ... how is he going in the ISC, because if he isn't performing at a consistently high level, he doesn't deserve selection either
He's playing shit off the bench because we're using him incorrectly, he was in his best form at the Roosters when he was starting and playing 60+ minutes a night, that's one of his strengths, his style of play doesn't really suit coming on for 15 minute spurts and just going all out.
But I guess we'll never know how useful he could be because everyone here knows everything about Rugby League
What a douchey thing to say during a conversation where everyone is throwing their opinions around. I'm sorry, just for you I'll stop having and explaining my opinions on a place dedicated to doing just that.
But I guess we'll never know how useful he could be because everyone here knows everything about Rugby League
Huh?
I'm simply explaining to you that there might be more to Kennedy than we're seeing, there's no need to get all depressed on me, it's all good man, I forgive you.
At the end of the day, everyone has their favourite players (like the Jack Reed love-fest last year which seems to have soured lately) and everyone has players they want dropped (like Maranta last year - which did my head in). People will push for their faves regardless of form. But everyone is entitled to their opinion.
The question really is... how would Hoffman perform at ISC level (in a halves position), compared to Strasser, Paia'aua or even Nikorima?alright, lets focus on Strasser ... how is he going in the ISC, because if he isn't performing at a consistently high level, he doesn't deserve selection either
I think there's merit in putting Kennedy as a starter, let him absorb the initial onslaught and with Hannant and Wallace/Hala on the bench, there's more than enough prop minutes to take Parker back to the lock position, moving Gillett to the left fringe and Glenn to the bench, where he can rotate the second row with Oates.
Advantage is we have a bench quite capable of covering any position on the field should injury strike...
Drop Reed, Slide Vidot in, Oates wing, Glenn to bench, Kennedy Starts.
Locky fulltime getting anyone up to scratch in the 6.
